I sit up looking around my room at the messy boxes stacked everywhere. I figured since I was all caught up with homework I could try and unpack the rest of my belongings. I pulled out a picture of my dad and I, and sat it on my desk in an angle, so that when I sat down I could still she it. I pulled out another picture, but this time I paused, a tear rolling down my face smearing some of the makeup I put on earlier this morning.

"I miss you so much." I quietly whispered through the tears now streaming down my face. The picture was my mother sitting on an old rope swing, that used to be strung up on an old oak tree. I place it on my night stand shaking where I had been crying. I put the rest of my school books, that were more like study books, on the shelf in my bookcase.

My room was now organized, so I headed down stairs to get a snack. I reached into the pantry and pulled out some soft taco shells, and placed them on the counter. I then got into the fridge and pulled out lettuce, tomato's, shredded cheese, Ortega mild sauce, and lastly taco meat. After I had finished my snack I headed into the living room and flipped through the channels.

After 15 mins of trying to find something to watch I turned the tv off, and headed for my sweatshirt. I grabbed the keys to my dads pickup and headed out the door. I figured since I had time to waste I could take my dad some lunch. It was a 7 minute drive, when I pulled up to the sheriffs station, and parked by the strangely, familiar blue Jeep that was parked at school today.

I cautiously walked inside and went to the front desk. "Hello, how may I help you?" The lady asked as I walked up.
"Hi, I came by to drop lunch off to my father. His name's Steve Thompson." I said in a nervous voice. She smiled, and lead me to an office. I opened the door, and there sat my dad typing on the computer. "Hey!! I brought you some lunch." I said smiling. He smiled then said, " Thanks Jade! How was school today?" I didn't wanna lie to him, but I didn't want him worrying.

"It was fine, all my classes were basically just review for me." I said quietly. "Well, you probably should get going it's starting to get late." He said after a few minutes of awkward silence. "Ok, love ya dad!" I walked out of his office and was suddenly hitting the floor. Before I realized what happened I heard a voice, "Hey, you alright?" The voice was deep, but not too deep. I looked up to make eye contact with the mystery boy that had been starting at me all day.

He was smiling at me, with a worried look on his face. "Yea I'm fine," he held out his hand for me to take," thank you for helping me." I said the last part quickly, not meaning to. He chuckled then said, "Your adorable." I blushed, and headed for the door. I felt a soft hand take ahold of mine, making it so that I couldn't leave. "I really am sorry," still gripping into my hand, " to make it up to you how about I take you out for dinner?" He said with an apologetic look on his face.

I couldn't say no, I'm not that kind of person. "So like a date?" I said with a confused expression on my face.
"It doesn't have to be, I mean if you want it to be than that's also fine." He said very quickly. I chuckled, "Pick me up at 8." I grinned and left.

It was 7:23pm, and I was getting more and more nervous as the minutes go by. I picked out a off white, knee high dress with flowers all over it to wear. I added a short, long sleeved blue jean jacket just to add something to it.

Soon enough it was going on 8, and I was almost ready just had to write my dad a note saying im going out. Soon as I got done signing my name I heard a knock on my door. I quickly opened it staring into the beautiful, hazel eyes of my mystery boy. He greeted me with a smile, and I signal him to come in. I grab the note and hung it on the fridge. I turned go him, "Let's go!" I say with a smile.

We hopped into his Jeep and started off down the road. We were silent for awhile when he decided to turn on the radio. She Will Be Loved came on, and I started singing quietly looking out my window. Apparently I was singing loud enough so he could hear me, because I could feel eyes looking at me. I slowly looked up at him immediately stopping my singing. " I'm sorry." I said in a nervous voice. He slowly let a smile appear across his face, " No reason to apologize, I was enjoying the sound of your voice."

He still had a grin on his face, making me blush. We finally approached our destination, and parked. He got out and walk to my side, and opened the door for me and held his head out for me to take. We walked into the restaurant, and took our seats. "So, I never got your name by the way." He said with a serious face.
" Oh sorry, my name's Jade Thompson," I said with an apologetic tone in my voice. I forgotten to tell him earlier. " what's yours?" He slightly smiled, " Stiles, Stiles Stilinski." A few minutes of talking passed when we hear a crash, everyone started screaming. I couldn't see what was happening until I saw......
