„Typical night!" I laughed, watching Charlotte run away with a drink in her hand probably looking for Brandon.
The music was so loud that my whole body felt the vibrations. I was tipsy but definitely not drunk. Everyone else around me definitely was though.
Making my way to the kitchen I finally found a familiar face that did not look too drunk.
„Austin!" Pushing people away I ran to the blonde haired guy who was looking a bit lost, sitting on the counter top next to the fridge. He smiled as he saw me.
„Thank god I'm not the only one that's not that drunk. This party is really getting out of hand."
„You wanna go outside?" I asked. He immediately nodded, jumped off the counter and dragged me on the patio in front of the house.
I started admiring the sun that was still slightly setting. Pinks and yellows all over the sky, including a few stars that were already visible. The air felt cold compared to the hot and sweaty atmosphere from inside the house. It was refreshing though.
„Honestly couldn't even feel my ears anymore just then." I laughed as I sat down on the ground, leaning against the wall, Austin following my actions.
„I know. I told y'all it would get out of control but obviously no one believed me." He threw his hands up in the air as I could only get out a laugh.
„Hey, don't blame me it was all Zion's idea in the first place."
„Okay so that's settled, it's Zion's fault, great." Austin took out his phone and started typing away.
When I wanted to speak up again I was interrupted by the door being opened and music filling up the air again.
I looked up to find Edwin stumbling outside. Austin caught him in just the right second for him not to hit his head on the concrete floor.
„What's going on here?" He almost screamed.
„Trying to get away from the noise but we were clearly not successful." Austin laughed.
„Edwin come here, sit down you're so drunk." I patted the free spot to my left and looked up at him with soft eyes.
As much as I loved seeing him drunk, I did not want my best friend to stumble und die. Clearly.
„I don't wanna sit next to Austin, he smells of alcohol."
„Dude I barely had anything, you're the drunk one here!"
„Yeah whatever." With that he flopped down next to me, the side that Austin was not on, immediately putting his head on my shoulder and sighing.
Austin being the great friend he was, took a picture of Edwin and posted it somewhere for the world to see, which would be great entertainment the next day once he found out.
„I'll go back inside and make sure the house won't be destroyed. Most probably by the owners themselves." He got up and gave me a supportive smile, then disappeared in the loud music, closing the door behind him.
I closed my eyes to try and enjoy the almost silence after being in that party for what felt like days. It was supposed to be a small get together, celebrating the guys' new music video release for one of their songs.
But obviously with these guys it would never be small. Inviting 30 people meant every one of those people would bring along more friends who would also tell other people who yet again would tell their friends. Long story short, the house was packed. Walking around was basically impossible because there was no space left.
