Chapter 3- I don't want you to get hurt

Pippin had found out about me and Sam,  he was keeping a close eye on Sam and was very uneasy.

I was sat in my room staring at the wall thinking about Sam smiling like a child, "Samantha you in here", I heard Pip's voice from the other side of the door, "you are good cos I need to talk to you", he said poking his head through the door and then walking in, "what is it?" I tilted my head at him and smiled, "its about Sam" he sat down beside me gently, "what about Sam", my smile slowly faded, "I don't want you seeing him again, date wise", I laughed at his coment as I thoughthe was pulling a prank, "wait... your being serious", I looked at him seriously, as he nodded, "no... what right do you have telling me who i can and cant be seeing", I yelled at him, "I'm your brother I'm here to look after you, I don't want to see you get hurt", he stood up quickly and yelled back, "we all have to take risks, and how would you know if Sam was going to hurt me, he's a risk I'm willing to take", I said before storming off a tear running down my cheek as I quickly left the house and made my way to Brandywine river.

When I got to the river I saw no one around so I just sat down beside the river, my feet tickling the surface,  my tears falling like the waterfall near by, "Samantha are you alright", I heard a sweet voice from behind me, "hey what's wrong", Merry said putting his arm around me, "my brother is a jerk,  he's like the Sauron of hobbits", I said wiping my tears away with a cloth that Merry had just given me, "why what's he done", "he doesn't want me seeing Sam anymore", I looked at him and tried to smile slightly, "well, I can see why he wouldn't want you seeing him, he doesn't want to see you get hurt, he cares for you even if he doesn't show it", Merry smiled slightly, "I wish he wasnt so protective", I giggled,  "its his job, he might not be very good at it but you've gotta live with what you got", he smiled making me chuckle,  "thank you Merry you always put a smile on my face", I smiled at him, "you're very welcome, but I've gotta go so see you round okay", he tilted his head at me and smiled, "yeah see you round", I smiled as he kissed my cheek and cheekily smiled before leaving,  he waved as he left me on the river bank, just day dreaming.
