Something Big and Something Small

Cody screamed and tried to run away as Soundwave reached into the room to grab Kade and the boy, Cody kept running til he got to the bottom of the stairs where he met up with the rest of his family, Chief burns had his gun ready. "Cody where's Kade!?" Asked Dani worry dripped from her voice. "He was right behind me!" Cody said looking back up the stairs.

Bumblebee and Heatwave ran out of the base to check the base for Soundwave. As they turn the corner to the back of the base they saw Kade being pulled out of the house by his leg as Soundwave turned his helm to the Rescuer and Scout. Kade had scratches up and down his arms from the broken glass. "Put him down, Tooth Pick!" Heatwave ordered, Soundwave would've been offended if he knew what that was. Kade struggled against Soundwaves thin digits, for being so thin they were actually really strong.

Soundwave took a step back calculating what might happen next the chance of losing was thirty percent, in his processor Heatwave posed barely to no threat, but Soundwave won't make that same mistake for Bumblebee again. "I said put him down!" Heatwave aimed his water cannons at the 'con as Bee raised his blasters. Soundwave tightened his grip on Kade making him goan in pain. Heatwave snapped and fired foam at Soundwave making him quickly side step to dodge it, only to quickly move his helm to the left to dodge a shot fired by Bee. Soundwave then ran into the woods and both the rescuer and scout followed... perfect. Kade snarled in pain as he was swung back and forth while Soundwave ran, the 'con eventually stopped running and faced Bumblebee as Bee fired at him he dodged once again using a tree as cover. "Kade hold on!" Heatwave yelled as he shot at Soundwave but as the 'con went to side step once more the foam actually caught his leg... miscalculation. The foam thickened over leg joint making it almost impossible to bend. Soundwave had enough and- Heatwave yet again surprised the 'con when he ran up and punched him -a lot harder than expected from a rescuer- in the face causing Soundwave stumble then fall breaking the foam and releasing Kade when he hit the ground. Soundwave stared at Heatwave and flashes from his first fight with Megatron in the arena flashed before his optics... was his vision just glitching or does Heatwave remind him of Mega- idiotic thoughts that don't deserve the second to think of, he is fighting.

Soundwave turned to Kade to see the human running off, Heatwave took his chance and shot at him but Soundwave rolled to the side and then stood up. Heatwave wasn't going to actually cause any kind of pain with those foam cannons but Bumble- where's the scout!? Soundwave quickly looked around to see Bee helping Kade, now back to the fight. Heatwave shot at Soundwave again and again not letting up but keeping his distance. The infocon needed to close that distance... this fight seemed so much like his fight with Megatronus, Heatwave reminded him a little too much of the now warlord. Soundwave used the trees as cover when Heatwave shot at him then ran out of cover and at Heatwave. The rescuer was about to fire foam at Soundwave but the 'con hit Heatwaves servo up and then hit him into a tree, the red rescuer goaned in pain as he stumbled to get. Soundwave then grabbed him and pinned Heatwave to the tree about to release his connectors when Bumblebee shoots and Soundwave  for a moment Heatwave could almist hear a quiet snarl come from Soundwave. As Bumblebee shot at the 'con he had enough and pulled Heatwave forward like a sheild making the scout instantly stop shooting. Heatwave curse and struggled against Soundwavee but that only caused him to hold Heatwave tighter.

With a normal military bot Bee wouldn't be as worried to try and shoot for Soundwave but Heatwave had thinner armor and a plasma blast might cut right through him. Soundwave tilted his helm to inspect Heatwave, his plating was thinner than usual but by the looks of it could also withstand more heat than normal military plating... interesting. Heatwave shifted and Soundwave grabbed him a little tighter. "Let go!" Heatwave snarled as Bee took a step forward as Soundwave took one step back. Bumblebee had no idea what to do as thought of a plan Soundwaves screen flicked on and Bees optics widened when he noticed the infocon was sending in a groundbridge. Before the scout could react a bridge opened below him as he let out a warpled scream. Heatwave surprised and scared took the opportunity and  on Soundwaves ped making the 'con release him in pain. Heatwave ran to try and get distance but Soundwave released a connected and grabbed Heatwaves leg yanking it back and making him fall. The red rescuer cursed out some human word Soundwave didn't fully know the meaning of and didn't care. Heatwave grabbed a log and threw it at Soundwave actually getting him in the chassis! Out of reflex Soundwave released the Rescuer and he started running to open up distance between the two. When he turned back to face where Soundwave was he didn't see him... his energon went cold and he quickly looked around, where was he!? Heatwave suddenly heard and felt wind being pulled in behind him and he quickly turned around expecting Soundwave but a large dark figure emerged... it defiantly wasn't Soundwave!

At The Base

Cody watched the tree line for Bumblebee and Heatwave to come walking back with triumphant looks on their faces holding his brother and Soundwave.... but the longer he waited the less he thought it happened. "Hey Cody, Chase is getting up." Cheif said walking up to his son as Cody looked at him. "Do you think they'll come back." Worry dripped from eatch word the boy spoke. "Of course... you should head inside." Cheif said softly and Cody nodded as he walked in. Chase was just sitting up rubbing his helm. "Anything?" Dani asked turning to Cody who shook his head. Dani walked over and hugged the boy comforting him... it was going to be a long night.
