*This story is somewhat of a spin off of the vampire diaries, don't comment telling us we copied it when we knew we were doing a spin off. thanks :)
First of all I want to say thank you for checking out this book me and my greatest friend in the world made. This is a story about the wonderful band my chemical romance and the amazing actor Channing Tatum. Please don't forget to check out our other books! (Dark, Darks Back, Gerard way and me, Mrs . Way, Anonyme, One mistake and soon.) We love you guys so much and it really does mean the world to us that you guys read what we write. Soon that note enjoy my lovelies.
Channing.
The movers brought in several boxes at a time into our old Victorian House. I walked over to their truck and grabbed a box with my moms crappy handwriting, that said Kitchen Plates ; Fragile!
With the box in my hand I walked into the kitchen where Jenna, my sister was looking at our old photo albums.
"Chan, do you think we would've moved from Manhattan if dad didn't die?" Jenna asks me, looking in my direction now.
My father died not too long ago, maybe a few months ago. Him and I were out fishing, as we did as it seemed like every day, and we were driving home when another car started to swerve along the road. My dad swurved his car away from it to protect us, but unfortunately he ended up driving us off a bridge. I made it, but my father didn't.
Now, we're living in Redwood Heights with my mother, Lacey. I'm over eighteen and living with her, same with Jenna--just for now. Just until she's stable to live on her own, she almost moved out with her long time boyfriend chad, but he was the one that we had to swerve from. Out of the three of us I was the only one who had survived. Jenna was crushed, she was in love and now her father and her longtime lover are dead.
"I seriously don't know. Mom's always wanted to move here, at least that's what she told me." I answer.
Jenna placed the book back on the counter and walked away, I walked to the book to see our family picture from last year.
Moms face was bright and gorgeous, not like now. She use to be so beautiful that all my friends said that they wanted to tap it. But her true love died and her son almost did too, what else do you expect from her?
I flip open the book to see the pages of notes next to the pictures. I see one of me and my father.
We are sitting on a log with a beautiful clear setting of the lake and trees. My father was holding his favorite fishing pole and me the old banged up tackle box, you could tell he just had said something funny because I was in mid laugh.
My father always use to do that, get us ready for a picture then say something funny to make us all laugh. Even my mom laughed even though all she wanted was a nice picture. The thing my mom did to every picture was write the date and what the joke was on the back of the picture. This one said,
7/18/07 "Get ready guys" in his famous lisp.
"That was a sweet picture of you too." My mom Lacey said in her sweet fragile voice.
"It was though. Wasn't it?"
"Don't worry, it still is."
I nodded my head, and faked a smile like usual.
"Okay Channing we are almost done and then we will go to that old mom and pop shop over there okay hun?" My mom says, and I simply nod my head.
I walked back to the truck and grabbed the last few boxes bringing them in to the foyer. I turned around to see Jenna.
I laughed and said, " Turning it to a ninja much?"
"Shut up, dick head."
"Oh, someone's not a happy camper."
Jenna gave me a death stare she couldn't stop herself from laughing. We laughed at each other until Lacey came in to the foyer.
"What's so funny?" Lacey asks.
"Nothing, mom." Jenna said to Lacey.
Lacey and my mom were never super close we both were always closer to our father. And when he died we all kinda shifted closer surprisingly except for my mom and my sister.
"Let's just go." I said walking towards the door. Lacey and Jenna nodded and began to walk as well. Each step anyone took creaked the old wood floors.
Lacey walked towards the huge van to pay the movers and Jenna and I walked towards the car Lacey's older then me by 2 years I'm 18 and she's 20. Which doesn't really matter except for when we are going anywhere.
Lacey has a black van and Jenna has a black dodge stratus. I still am saving up for a little junky car, but whenever we are going somewhere together I have to sit in the back. Which is super annoying.
Jenna pushed her way into the front and I squeeze myself into the back and Lacey sits herself into the driver seat, and drives to the diner called Emerald's. I start work there soon, but not yet since I just moved here. I start work there soon, though.
It sounds very fancy to me at least, buts it not its your classic hot food fast service with talky waiters.
I walk in to see a lot of teenagers, like as if its almost a hangout place. A larger lady with short blonde hair and puffy red skin sits us down.
"Your waitress will be with in a minute." The lady says as she walks away.
"I thought you said that this was a mom and pop shop, not a loser version of Starbucks." Jenna says in her usual annoying voice, her eyes rolling.
"Jenna, why didn't you stay home if you were going to be a bitch?" My mom questions my sister. I could tell she was keeping her voice low, trying not to let her voice carry around the diner.
"Shut up Lacey, it's not like you're any better." My sister scoffs.
"Both of you, please." I say to shut them up.
I look over my shoulder to see four guys in the corner with 4 different coffee cups. They are pale and angry looking--no, angrys not the right word. Blood thirsty. They also were beautiful not your typical gothic hot guy, but crested features that seem way to perfect to be true. They are pale, blood thirsty, gorgeous looking people. They don't look like they're from around here, anyway ; they're too pale to be from Redwood, the gorgeous sunny place. They don't look.. too normal. Its funny actually they look as if they would play the part of Edward Cullen perfectly. The role of a vampire.
