Only girl (not completed)

Chapter 5

After I made the goal it was time to go to my next class. Before I got to the door to the girls locker room I was stopped.

  "Hey Blake!" I turned around to see Owen walking up to me. "Oh hey!" Before he spoke anymore, I could already tell he was nervous. It's weird for me to see him nervous cuz from what I know he never gets nervous to talk to a girl. "So I saw you during gym and I wanted to congratulate you!" "Thanks!"

   After that it was an awkward silence until he spoke "So I just got done talking with the coach of the Football team, and we have an opening if you want to join?" I was actually shocked but excited at the same time.

  I always wanted to play on a football team but they would never allow girls. "Really? But I thought that only guys can play." "Well apparently someone recorded you from another gym class and showed it to the coach, and he was actually wondering himself if you wanted to join."

   I was even more shocked at what he just said "I would love to. And don't I have to try out?" He said "no, since the coach already saw you he said that as long as you are a hard worker and can handle being tackled then your good."

   I told him that I live with two brothers and we tackle each other all the time, and since my brothers were already on the team it would work even better. So Owen told me that if I need any information that I could just go talk to the coach. After that we said our goodbyes and I quickly went to change and shower then head to my next class, which was actually Math class.

   Once I got all my things and headed to Math class, the teacher already had signed us seats. I was lucky enough to sit next to Rodha, but then the empty seat next to me was seated by Owen.

   Instead of desks, they have tables the can fit 3 people. Rodha was on my right and Owen was on my left. When Owen sat down he smiled at me and I smiled back.

   I quickly turned my head towards Rodha who was smiling from ear to ear. Then class had started. "Hello class my name is Mr. Ekre, and you will have these seats for the rest of the school year" some students made complaining noises while me and Rodha were happy.
