Zach didn't pay attention in Mr. Besson's class, he never did and still somehow passes. Only Zach wished he did more often, he wrote a four thousand word biography on his best friend, Daniel only to find out he had to redo it.

"Zach, I understand you took your time to carefully write and edit this even in two days, I'm quite impressed at how thorough this, but, you have to redo it," Mr. Besson sighed. "You're majoring in social sciences, why would I just tell you to write a biography?"

Zach clutched the paper to his chest, biting his bottom lip as his professor's words crashed down on him. "The assignment was to make a friend and to find out their life story. I know you've been friends with Daniel forever you're antisocial but for this assignment, which is due at the end of the month, please. Make a new friend,"

Zach nodded, chewing on the inside of  his cheek. He couldn't shake off the feeling of mr. Besson's sympathetic gaze. Zach had to make a friend, find out their life story, and write a biography. Why was college so hard?

Jack couldn't focus on writing in his journal. His therapist, jonah marais, said writing would ease his thoughts, make them more clear. But no, they still ran like cars on a race track in his head. Jack sighed, picking up his journal and tipping the waiter who worked at the coffee shop he was at. He stuffed his journal, pencil, and phone in his book bag and headed on his way home.

Jack became more jittery, attentive, as he needed his apartment he shared with his longtime girlfriend aspen loeffeler. Jack drummed his fingers on his thigh as he unlocked the door only to see Aspen sucking the face off of a random guy.

"Jack, babe,"

"Get out. Pack your things and get out," Jack murmured. this wasn't the first time Aspen cheated on him, but he wanted to end it here. Aspen was toxic. He didn't need any poison in his life.

The dude chuckled but not before making one last remark. "Your girlfriend's tight, bro. Why didn't you smash?"

"Shut up and leave," Jack muttered, stomping off to his room, tears coming to life on his face. It's been awhile since Jack's last relationship. aspen promised to be his forever relationship, but it always ends the same. He gets cheated on. Jack rubbed his eyes, was it because he had asperger's syndrome?

It didn't really even affect his day to day process. All it changed was how he thought, differently. Was being different really so bad?
