Chapter 6

The three men soon arrived at the train station, Taekyun stood there holding Yeontan as the others exchanged their tickets for the trains boarding passes, the dark haired man, Jungkook, jogged up to the boy

"Hey, so, here's your ticket your highness" he handed Taekyun the ticket and winked at him, the boy just rolled his eyes, they were soon joined by Namjoon

"Hey Taekyun, I know you want to get to Seoul as soon as possible but the trains just don't run straight there anymore" Taekyuns heart dropped at his words, he let out a soft sigh

"Hey don't worry, we'll get there" Jungkook leaned in a patted Taekyuns back who gave him a soft smile which quickly fell again into a pout

"Hey what's wrong kid?" Namjoon looked up from his ticket at the boy

"I just- I didn't think we'd be leaving so soon..." he hugged Yeontan closer to him and the little dog nuzzled himself into his chest

"I thought you wanted to leave though?" Jungkook questioned him raising an eyebrow

"I-I do, it's just, I grew up here, my whole life has been here, I didn't think i'd be leaving so quickly upon deciding to go" Jungkook chuckled a little and pulled the boy towards the train with him

"You'll get used to it, never think about things too much, just do it and think about the consequences later" Taekyun scoffed at him

"Is that how you guys have lived your life? Just living in the moment" He questioned Jungkook

"Well not everyone had the perks of being royalty" he jokingly mocks the boy whose face fell deadpanned and glared at him

"You remember I'm an orphan right!? a homeless orphan with no memory of my childhood or family?" Jungkook chuckle loudly at this, for someone who is so shy his tone sure carries a lot of of sass in it

The three boys boarded the train and headed to their shared carriage, it was a small room they held two seats the length of the cabin on either side and beds above them

Taekyun slumped into the seat and Yeontan jumped on his lap snuggling into it and falling asleep, he let out a sigh and took out his necklace twirling it around in his fingers, the seat dipped as Jungkook sat beside him

"Hey, stop fiddling with that, sit up straight, you're meant to be a prince remember?" He teased the boy

"And how do you know so much about what it is to be prince?" Taekyun sneered at him

"I make it a point to know" he smirked at him and leaned over to pay the small dog only to earn a small growl from him and a chuckle from Taekyun

"Careful there, he's super protective" He smiled down affectionately at his friend

"I'm just trying to be nice" the boys took annoyed glances at each other, Namjoon only looked at them and rolled his eyes sighing and returning to his papers

The cart was silent for a few minutes, only the breathing from the men and the soft snores of Yeontan filling it, Taekyun sat up straighter putting the small dog to his side, he looked towards Jungkook

"Jungkook... Do you really think  I'm royalty?" he let out a long sigh, Jungkook just grinned at him

"You know I do" he patted the boys thigh before reaching for some papers Namjoon was handing him

"Then... maybe you shouldn't boss me around.." Taekyun smirked as Jungkook's eyes widened, Namjoon let out a choked laughter

"Well, he certainly has a mind of his own" he laughed at the pair and Jungkook returned a glare

They'd be on the train for about an hour by this point, the boys going through their papers while Taekyun read a book Namjoon had handed him and occasionally played with Yeontan, Namjoon stood up stretching and let out a few grunts and groans

"I'm going to go reserve a table for dinner, I'll be back" he left the room as the two nodded at him, silence once again filled the room, Taekyun continued to read his book, Jungkook let out a sharp cough

"Ahem" he tried to get Taekyuns attention but only gathered the small dogs who glared at him for disturbing his sleep

"Ahem!" he coughed louder gaining the boys attention finally

"Yes Jungkook?" he placed the book on his lap and looked at him

"Listen, Tae, Can I call you that?" Jungkook leaned forward looking Taekyun in the eyes, a small blush tinted his cheeks before fading

"Um.. yeah, That's fine.." He nodded towards Jungkook

"Okay, Listen, Tae, I think we got off on the wrong foot here" Jungkook started to explain, Taekyun nodded once again and smiled weakly

"Yes, I think so too" Jungkook sighed in relief

"Okay-" he was quickly cut off by the boy

"But I appreciate your apology" He smirked at the ravenette

Apology? Who said anything about an apology, I was just saying-" He lifted his hands into the arm in defense

"Stop, d-don't talk anymore, you'll only make it worse" Taekyun scoffed and rolled his eyes, Jungkook looked at the boy in disbelief

"Fine I'll be quiet" he leant back folding his arms against his chest "I'll be quiet if you will-" he continued

"Fine, I'll be quiet" he followed the same action as Jungkook leaning back and folding his arms, "fines" were repeated between them as they bickered, they deeply sighed at each other

"Are you going to miss it?" Taekyung asked

"What you're talking?" Jungkook joked making the boy blush a little

"What? no? you Idiot, Daegu, it was your home wasn't it" he sat up straighter

"Nope, it was a place I lived, simple as that" Taekyun cocked his head at the response he received

"So you're going to live in Seoul? Make that your home" he questioned

"Man, what is with you and homes?" Jungkook chuckled, Taekyun furrowed his eyebrows

"Um, doesn't everybody want a home? isn't that a normal wish" he pouted folding his arms and turning to look at the window, the two continued to bicker back and forth as Namjoon entered the cabin again, Taekyun instantly jumping up to his side

"Thank god it's you, please get him out of here" he pointed aggressively towards Jungkook was place his hand against his chest acted like the boys words wounded him, Namjoon sighed

"Jungkook what have you done now?" Jungkook's hands shot up in a questioning manner

"Me!? It's him!" He pointed towards Taekyun who let out a sarcastic laugh and left the cabin with Yeontan in pursuit, Namjoon chuckled

"Oh no, an unspoken attraction" he lifted his eyebrows towards Jungkook

"Attraction!!!" the boy shouted out "To that skinny little brat, i don't think so, you've lost your mind" he scoffed and flung his arms around, leaving the cabin and slamming the door behind him, Namjoon sat down laughing to himself

"This is going to be one interesting journey"
