Goldie turned around in their fish tank with a smile. "Moist boy, your moistness. What can I do for you?"

Moistiso helped himself into the courtesy pool of water near the door to remoisten himself. Once comfortable, he then looked at Goldie.

"Gurtson, I'm lonely", he started. "No one comes to my moist den anymore. I never see my subjects. It's like I have everything but nothing at the same time."

As moist boy continued to speak of his lonliness, Goldie began to swim in circles. Their wide eyes made contact with their fishy castle but before they could swim to enter it, moist boy stopped talking.

The moistiso paused without noticing Goldie's lack of attention. He was too wrapped up in self pity. "If I have you I won't be lonely then. You can save me, rescue me and I'll rescue you. There's nothing for you in this empty house. Move in with me and we can be together."

Goldie shrank into the corner of his tank. "Your moistness, I'm not sure that's a good idea. I mean, everyone in this town knows what happens to those you get close with."

Goldie shuddered thinking all of a sudden about Lou Lou the trampoline and toastie the slice of toast. Everyone in the town missed them. They both made the mistake of trusting and getting close to the Moistiso.

Moist boy splashed in the pool to get Goldie's attention. "Gurtson, you can trust me. It'll be good for both of us. I can finally connect with one of my subjects and learn how people in the town feel. Please come join me in the pool."

Goldie began to studder. They couldn't say no to the vat of moistness in front of them. But then again, Goldie was the glue holding the town together by using their magic to fix everyone's daily problems. People wouldn't survive without them, but saying no to His Moistness would result in something horrible.

Moist boy splashed angrily when sending Goldie's hesitation. "How dare you say no to me. After everything I've done for you and this town."

Goldie looked at the moist boy frightened. They had no clue what was to come.

Thrashing back and forth, the moist boy powerfully moved the complimentary kiddie pool close to the edge of the table that Goldie's tank was on. Goldie swam to the edge of their tank and peered over to see an angry moist boy.

Goldie Gurtson looking over the edge was the worst mistake of their life. Moist boy thrusted himself against the table leg causing Goldie's tank to tip over and Goldie to fall out.

Gills flailing, fins out, eyes closed in horror, Goldie Gurtson did a graceful swan dive into their doom, the Moistiso's moistening bath.
