A boy with hair as dark as night and a girl with hair as pink as the sakura trees, this is the story of their love and the past that they had forgotten.
A black-haired boy sat under a sakura tree reading a book. As he read his eyes twinkled with an innocent curiosity. Running under the sakura trees as the petals fell, was a girl with hair as pink as the petals which fell.
Suddenly the girl ran past the boy and as she looked at him whilst she ran, she stumbled into a tree near him and fell, as he watched her fall he walked towards her to see if she was alright. Suddenly when she looks towards him they make eye contact as he holds his hand out to her and a spark of familiarity flows between them. The boy then asked if she would like to sit under the tree with him. She then replies with a nod.
After what seems like a moment of silence, the boy asks the girl for her name, as his curiosity and familiarity of her makes him want to know more about her. She then replies that her name is Zero Two, which for a moment sounded familiar to the boy like a part of his past that was there but not remembered. She then asked him the same question as he asked her, he then replied that his name was Hiro, the girl now known as Zero Two had also felt a forgotten memory between them and a familiarity that she could not put her finger on.

Suddenly someone yelled out to be careful, most likely to Zero Two. As she was about to return to that person she told the boy known as Hiro, that they should play again sometime. The boy then smiled at her and said if they ever saw each other again, that he would definitely play with her again. The phrase felt oddly familiar to the girl, but she agreed with him anyways.

When Zero Two had returned to her mother, Hiro had run off and disappeared as if he was never under the tree reading. Hiro decided to return to his home and write about his new findings in a journal that he kept. He wrote about the familiar little girl and the things that he felt at the moment he met her.
