(Todoroki P.O.V.)
As the three of us rested in awkward silence, I tried to take in the fact that my dad was seeing Midoriya for the first time. The omega was the first to speak, "I'm Izuku Midoriya. It's nice to meet you in person Mr. Todoroki." He bowed to my father sitting across from me.
"Shoto, who is this omega to you?" My fathers voice was stern and commanding.
I didn't know how to answer, should I lie? Should a tell the truth? Should I smudge the truth a little? Lots of 'should I's' ran through my head. The green haired boy spoke up again, "I'm Master Todoroki's new personal chef, sir. Today is my first day off my internship." He was standing up straight now, the soup in his hands magically unspilt.
"Fair enough, leave the food and wait in the corner. I would like to speak to you further in a moment." The man in front of me commanded.
I almost burst up in anger, he has no place to command my mate!
I looked over to Izuku, his soft eyes gazing at me. The smirk planted on his face telling me he knew my situation was stressful. "Yes Sir." He walked over and set down the bowls of soup and then continued to walk over to the wall. He stood there quietly holding the tray to his abdomen, before closing his eyes he winked at me.
My father didn't bother to eat the food while he talked about the company. "Shoto, you need to take your job as CEO more seriously. Like I have said before, this company will soon be yours and you need to know how to run it properly."
I spoke my opinion and for the first time in a while I witnessed my father pick up a spoon and begin to eat. He looked shocked at the flavor of the bowl in front of him, glancing over at Izuku, the closed eyed expression of the boy never wavering. When he and I were finished discussing business my father had Midoriya join us at the table. "So, Midoriya, was it? You just started working for my son as his personal chef."
"Yes sir, that is correct."
"What is your ultimate goal with this job?" My father put his hands together and and leaned on them.
"Well, my mother is ill and I would like to help get money for her medicine. Also I figured I could prove my friends wrong, they all said I couldn't make it big, so I took up this job in hopes of doing that."
The older man seemed to be thinking Izuku's answer over. "That is pleasant goal young man. Do you have any other intentions with my son?"
"No I do not sir, as you can see," Izuku showed his mate mark, "I already have a mate."
My father being the dense bastard that he is responded, "well then. That is all I came for. Thank you for the meal and I will see you at work next week Shoto."
My old man stood and walked twirls the door, when I was sure he left the house I smashed my lips to Midoriya's. He giggled when I pulled away. "That fake story was so believable if I didn't know any better I'd say that was the truth." I smiled at him.
"Well it wasn't a complete lie."
"Huh?"
"Well my mother does have an illness but she is doing fine and doesn't need money for medicine or medical treatment. Most of my friends said me and Kiri couldn't make it on our own, but we are proving them wrong. And I do have a mate," he kissed my forehead.
"Woah. Nice job there. I thought that was all fake."
He put on a pouty face, "even the 'see I already have a mate' thing?"
I cracked up laughing, pulling the omega into my lap I said, "god dammit your adorable."
