#1 (With this smile, I can get away witheverything.) & #30 (You're really drunk right now." "No I'm not you're justblurry.")

You adjusted the ridiculous frock as it clung unnecessarily tight to your frame and you turned back and forth in front of the mirror. The dress was absolutely ridiculous and it showed a great deal more cleavage than you would have liked. You heard someone enter the cabin and you could feel his eyes on you but you ignore it for the moment. Edward came up behind you and groaned, "Is all this really necessary?"

You ruffled your hair until you were satisfied with it before turning to Edward, "Yes, it is quite necessary. These men need to be looking somewhere other than their pockets tonight. Otherwise I won't be able to nick those papers... we've been over this plan, Edward."

He grunted before trailing a hand up your side, "Just because we've been over it doesn't mean I have to like it. Besides, you are incredibly intoxicating without all of this..." He grabbed at some of the excess fabric of your dress for emphasis, "They'll be drunk off of you without the help of rum or corsets. Why not just let me do it instead?"

You laughed and wrapped your arms around his waist, "They would only see you coming; you're too well known amongst these men and we need to take advantage of them making port here." You slowly pulled his face down to yours, smiling into his lips, "Besides... with this smile, I can get away with everything."

He groaned into the kiss but he conceded and you delighted in the small victory. After a moment you pulled away and sauntered out of the dimly lit cabin with a little more sway in your hips. You quickly left the Jackdaw and made your way to the tavern; making a beeline for the bar top. Anne looked you up and down before giving a small smile; she nodded discreetly toward the last table in the corner and you coyly looked over your shoulder. A small group of men dressed in fine silks were chatting amongst themselves and drinking heavily; they were either too confident or stupid to be dressed so richly in the middle of Nassau.

You tended the other patrons as you slyly kept an eye on your target; two tankards of ale later and he had already given you all the information that you needed. He was getting rowdy with his crew and ended up waving the ship ledger around before slipping it into his back trouser pocket. You turned to Anne who was already loading up a tray with tankards of ale; nodding her head in understanding. You picked up the tray and attempted to hide your growing displeasure with a seductive smirk.

You sauntered over to the back table and placed the full tankards in front of each man; leaning forward to emphasize your cleavage more than was probably necessary. You eyed your target before purring, "I noticed that your tankards were looking rather empty and we can't have that, now can we?" You trailed a hand on the man's shoulder in front of you, "If you gents need anything else then give us shout."

As you walked away you swayed your hips and tried to fight the frown now attempt to break past your façade. You gripped the bar top a little too tightly before you saw Anne eyeing the space behind you discreetly; you turned around with a sickeningly sweet smile. The man that you were targeting came sauntering rather unsteadily toward you, much to the absolute delight of his mates. He leaned into you and you tried to fight the nausea at the smell of alcohol on his breath, "Hey sweetheart... How's about you and I go somewhere more private?"

You tried to sound enthralled by his attention but you felt rather sick to your stomach, "Darling, I still have patrons... where would we be going?"

The intoxicated man buried his face into your hair and you ceased the opportunity to reach into his back pocket and gently pull the ledgers out. You slid the paper behind your back and Anne grabbed it while the man on your shoulder was none the wiser. The man looked up at you with a lazy smile on his face, "You can always come back to my ship... we're not leaving Nassau until tomorrow afternoon." He grabbed your hands and pulled you into him, you struggled against his grip, "Come on sweetheart, my ship isn't docked far from here."

You tried to push him away but he was insistent, "Please sir, I told you I still have patrons to attend to..." You already had what you needed and there was no need to keep up further appearances, so you shoved him back into the table behind him, "God damn you... I said no you bloody drunkard!"

The look in his eyes was angry when he got up but you didn't have to worry about a fight because a rather slurred but familiar voice came to your aid. His words were garbled but you sighed in relief, "Oi... the lady said no. if you're wise you'll leave now."

There was a tussle that ensued but the small group of men and your target were easily overpowered by Edward and some of the Jackdaw's crew. While the fight broke out you hopped behind the bar and took the ledgers from Anne before tucking into the belt secured around your thigh. When you came back around the fight had died out and Edward was swaying back and forth; most likely from the alcohol he obviously consumed rather than his bleeding nose. You grabbed a clean rag and dabbed at his nose before throwing his arm around your shoulder before walking toward where the Jackdaw was docked. He leaned a little too hard into your side and you wobbled, "Easy there, Captain! We're nearly to the Jackdaw..."

He grunted loudly before hiccuping, "I told you I didn't want you to do this... how long were you going to let him put his hands on you?"

You sighed as you approached the docks, "I am not having this conversation with you right now, Edward Kenway. You're really drunk right now."

He laughed hardily at that, "No I'm not! You're just blurry. My ship! I bloody love this ship..."

Getting Edward back onto the Jackdaw and into his cabin was a special kind of hell that you wouldn't wish upon anyone but you had managed. You tossed Edward onto his bed before taking off his boots; he smiled coyly up at you, "I like where this is going... come here lass! Join me, this bed is wonderful but it's still missing something... you."

You laughed out loud, "Quit your flirting and get some sleep, Kenway. You are surely going to feel all that rum in the morning."
