Kuwahara and his platoon are following the tracks to lead straight to find Itami group. He look at a map to find a lead.

Furata:" According to this, this tracks was lead to that place called Knappnai, there's a village nearby at north-west there so we should able to contact with the locals first."
All:" Right!"
When they got there, they saw the village was ruined. They were terrified to see a lot of villagers including the children died at the street. They seen the buildings were already burned. They're passing through the corpses and never look at it.
Furuta:" Oh god. How could something done to these people."
Jsdf soldier:" Maybe the bandits or the empire soldiers did this. Those basterds, they will pay for this."
Kuwahara:" I don't think so. 'Cause I see those guys over there."
He pointed at dead imperial soldiers lying on the ground. He saw something over that body. He told a driver to stop the vehicle and went to investigate. He look at a dead soldier to see a mutiple holes there. He seems like he was killed by a bullets. He feels strange that someone kill a whole villagers and soldiers with a bullets. He will report it immediately after they found Itami and his group. He went back to the vehicle and continue driving through the forest. As they continue, they keep a look out to see the enemies from the forests.
Kurahara:" Okay. The tracks is just up ahead. We will be there at no time."
Furuta:" I don't get it. Why those people were killed by not just a spear, an arrow or a sword, but killed by a bullets. Something is not right here, maybe we should call him about this."
Kuwahara:" There's no time for that, we have to find them or the empire will strike us for thinking we kidnapped the princess. We'll find them and then we report it to Gen. Hazama."
He agreed his suggestion, they continue driving on the road until they saw a lot of dead imperial soldiers and horses in the path. They're stunned and horrified to see it.
Jsdf soldier:" What the hell! Why the empire soldiers are here?"
Furuta:" Maybe these guys came to investigate here. Hmm... They didn't solve the case afterward. Continue driving, private."
Jsdf soldier:" Yes sir."
They continue driving through the corpses and reached to the end. They continue driving when their tires are popped.
Jsdf:" What the!? We got hit!"
He stopped the vehicle and went outside to see what's a problem.
Jsdf:" Damn it... The tires got flatted."
Furuta:" Wait. Did our tires get hit by a small rock."
Kuwahara looks at the back to see something that causes the tires to get flatted.
Kuwahara:" I think I know what happened."
He pointed at it, everyone sees a spike road lying on the ground.
JSDF soldier:" What a spike road doing here?"
He was going there to investigate when he was shot on the head.
Kuwahara:" What the hell!? We're under attack!"
The nazi camouflage soldiers shoot them with their VG 1-5, MP-40, MP-44 and K43 weapons. Kuwahara and his platoons are firing their weapons at them but they can't find the enemy because they wear camouflage uniforms.
JSDF soldier 1:" We've been pinned down! Where did they come from!"
JSDF soldier 2:" I don't know! And how did they get guns? I thought they don't have those gu-"
As he continue speaking, he was shot on the head. The Nazis managed to kill 6 JSDF soldiers while Kuwahara troops kill at least 4 of them. They are completely surrounded by an unknown enemies. At the second vehicle, a soldier tried to shoot them with a machine gun. That's when a panzergrenadier fires it with panzerschrek, destroying komatsu LAV with soldiers in of it. Now Kuwahara has 6 units left in the street. He tried to use a radio but it was busted during the attack, he has no choice but to run through the forest.
Kuwakara:" Everyone! Fall back to the trees!"
They followed his orders as they ran through the forest.
SS waffen officer:" Sie entkommen! Verlier sie nicht im Wald! Töte sie" (They're escaping! Don't lose them in the forest! Kill them!)
They obeyed his command as they follow them in the deep forest. Kuwahara, Furuta, and his men are trying to escape from the unknown enemy. Then one of the nazi carrying a sword and a shield rush Furuta to attack. He is struggling to fight him. He put out his combat knife to stab at his neck before he stabs him with his sword. Furuta push a dead body away and stand up.
Furuta:" Ah hell, he's a tough man here."
Kuwahara:" Yeah... We've lost our units at the road and now, our radios are busted. Now I'm asking here, is what the hell is going on!"
They look at each other for an explanation. One of the soldier looks at the dead body, he recognizes a uniform before.
JSDF soldier:" Sir... You might wanna look at this."
They both looking at a dead body making their eyes wide open like they've never seen it before in their entire life.
Kuwahara:" What. The. Fuck."
Furuta:" He's a german!"
Kuwahara:" Not just any german. A nazi german."
They're shocked that there's a nazi here in this world. They question themselves of how did they get here in the first place.
Furuta:" The ambush, do you think the nazis attacking us."
Kuwahara:" Yes. They are."
Furuta:" Do you think the rumors ' dark humanoid with creepy faces' they talking about are nazis."
Kuwahara:" That's the one, and I think they kidnapped Itami and his group. We have to-"
He continues to speak when he heard a voice. They duck down in the ground to covered.
Wehrmact 1:"Denkst du, dass sie diesen Weg gegangen sind?"
Wehrmact 2:" Ich denke schon. Sie sind diesen Weg gegangen."
Wehrmact 1:" Lass uns hier weiter suchen."
They spotted two nazi soldiers roaming around the forest. They seem to be real for them. He keeps their head down until the nazi soldiers walked pass them.
Furuta:" What are we gonna to do now?"
Kuwahara:" We'll wait here and move out as fast as we can. We will find their base and rescue them."
Jsdf soldier:" But how, sir?"
Kuwahara:" Just follow my lead."
They nodded it, as the coast is clear, they move out to find a base before they'll get spotted by the nazis. He had hope that Itami and the others are okay in there. He'll make sure that he will bring them home alive and report to Hazama about what they saw.
