Sugawara was sitting with Piña to have a discussion about peace talks. Then he show her to find Itami where he demonstrate the modern weapons to the senators who are voted peace. They were suprised to see them firing at the armour that was very effective. The senators wanted to tell Itami to sell it to them or how can make guns. When he tried to talk it down, he shows them to the mortar to demonstriate it. The mortar crew ready to fire and it hit in far distance, make them shocked to see an explosion. One of the senator, Moltose, have an image of his mind that they could destroy the armies with their powerful weapons and see the empire capital was on fire and hearing the screams of people who are dying. He went back to reality to see Piña and Sugarawa standing there.
He was so worried that if the empire continue a war with Japan it will be fall, and so to other senators. They have a talk with Sugawara to proceed a peace talks so there won't be a bloodshed. Piña went to Itami and said.

Piña:" Itami."

He turned around to see her and give her a smiled.

Itami:" Oh, hello princess. I was wodnering if you wanna see our weapons to show how can kill the enemy easily."
