I updated this a day early! YA!!! Tell me what you think below. I also want to tell you guys that the story is coming to an end. I promise you that it won't be another several chapters though. I am thinking that I might do a sequel...

The week went by extremely fast and before I knew it, it was Friday. It was the day before that we could go to Hogsmeade. I still had no idea what I was going to do. Drinian wasn’t any help because he kept changing his mind on what I should do.

“Your father is an ass for a number of reasons. The most prominent one is that he left you and your mum. Another one is that he got you into trouble and expects for you to come with him. No way will I let you do that!” Was what he first said, but then later he would say, “Claire you have to go. You don’t know who the bad guy is so you don’t know how to protect yourself. I wish I could help, but I don’t know what to do. The only person that can protect you is him.” Then he went back to what he first said. I didn’t want to talk to Draco about it, mostly because I didn’t know how to.

Draco knew that I was hiding something, but he didn’t push me to tell him. During classes and meals he would always glance at me every ten minutes. Part of the time he sent me lovey-dovey glances, but most of the time it was worry. I wondered if Drinian told him behind my back, but I didn’t really think he would.

Since Chloe had pretty much kicked me out, I have been staying with Draco in the Room of Requirement. I didn’t want to stay alone so Draco, of course, jumped at the chance to stay with me. I told him it was only temporary until Chloe and I had chilled out, but I was hoping that it never would. I loved the feeling of going to sleep and waking up with Draco curled around my petite body. We didn’t do anything “bad” because I asked for him to wait, wait until I was ready. He complied. He was just perfect.

“Miss Cresswell, I hope you are listening,” Professor McGonagall said aloud.

I looked up from my notes. Was it that obvious? “Yes Professor,” I said as I returned my attention to her. I zoned out after five minutes, though.  I was just too worried about what would happen the next day.

When it was time to switch to the next class, Professor McGonagall called out to me to stay behind. Instead of gathering my stuff together like the others, I walked to the professor.

When all of the students emptied out of the class room, she started to speak. “Miss Cresswell, you have barely taken part of the class this week. Other teachers have noticed as well. Today you weren’t even listening. Is everything ok?” She asked sincerely. At first I thought she was going to punish me, but she surprised me by asking about my wellbeing.

I blinked a couple times to make sure I wasn’t dreaming before I answered, avoiding the question. “Professor, I am so sorry. I will make sure that I give all my attention next week. I will have all my homework done and perfect.”

“Yes I know you will, but that is not what I asked. Miss Cresswell, you are not easily distracted like this. If you don’t want to tell me, then please tell the headmaster. We can help you,” She told me. Did she know? How could she?

“Yes, thank you Professor,” I said with a curt nod. I didn’t think she exactly liked my answer, but she dismissed me.

Instead of going to my next class I went to the Gryffindor common room. It was Drinian’s free period.

“Drinian lets go,” I commanded, standing by the entrance.

He jumped from the couch, surprised. When he turned around he saw me waiting impatiently. At first it seemed like he was about to argue, but instead he left his book on the table and followed my order. I gave him a smile before striding out of the common room.

Where would I find Professor Dumbledore? I thought this as Drinian and I strode down the hallway. I was so concentrated in my thoughts that I didn’t realize the boy running in front of me. Drinian was about to warn me, but I was already knocked down. Drinian caught me thankfully, but the boy wasn’t so lucky. He went face first into the floor. He groaned in pain as he rolled over on the stone floor to hold his bleeding nose.

“Oh I’m so sorry,” I yelped as went to help him up. I saw the scar on his forehead that made me hesitate, but only for a second. I reached down and grabbed his hand that wasn’t covering his nose, to pull him up. It was Harry Potter! I never actually met him even though he was in the same house, year and a few of the same classes. I just never really thought about talking to him.

“Thank you,” He mumbled through his hand.

I scrunched my eyebrows together. His nose was an easy fix. “Here let me fix that.” Harry looked at me cautiously. I didn’t think he believed me. “I promise it’s a painless, quick fix.” He hesitantly removed his hand from his face, letting me see the damage. Oh good it wasn’t broken, just a deep gash. I pulled my wand and gave it a little flourish. In seconds, Harry’s nose was back to normal.

“Thanks,” he smiled.

I nodded my head, “Least that I could do. Sorry to delay you. I’m just trying to find out where Professor Dumbledore is. You wouldn’t happen to know where he is, do you?” I was only joking, but Harry nodded his head. “You do? Where?” I asked, very curious.

“Well I really must be on my way, but I will tell you. It is located in the Headmaster's Tower. There is a gargoyle on the third floor that conceals a moving stone staircase. The gargoyle will step aside in response to the password. It’s Cockroach Cluster.” He whispered the password to me so that Drinian couldn’t hear.

I grinned, “Thanks so much.”

“Call it even,” He said as he took up a brisk walk down the hallway.
