Ash's POV
'Money well spent' Is all I can think about after seeing Ruben in his collar. I especially loved the fact that it said property of Ash Cameron. In all honesty he just looks too cute.
I push my glasses up to my face and smile at Ruben. His eyes are so human like. They are a light blue color and I swear if I look hard enough I'll find an ocean.
We were just leaving the pet store with his things in my left hand and petting the huge dog with my right hand.
Honestly not even the employees could tell me the breed. They think he might be a Great Dane and a wolf. He reminds me of a wolf more than anything but wolves would never get this close to a human.
Ruben and I started the walk back home. My mom turned her name mom into Mother real quick. I know she only wants the best for me but even in college I feel as if I have no control in my life.
I sigh lightly and Ruben's head looks up at me, staring at me with those beautiful eyes of his. I've always wondered what animals would look like if they were human. But fantasy is fantasy and the last thing I need right now is mother's disapproval and day dreaming about fiction.
I pull out my phone and check the day. It was a blood moon tonight. It's always interesting to see, the red aura that comes from the moon at night is so amazing. If my eyes weren't in my head they'd be off in space somewhere.
Rubens POV
Okay if I'm being serious this collar is kinda tight. Although being next to ash is like a dream to me. Never have I felt in my life, felt like this around a guy.
He was just so interesting. If soulmates were a real thing he'd be the one for me. I would be able to sense him from a mile away.
