"The man begged for his life, it was almost as entertaining as this one jester that we had. He was the best, until he tried to sleep with my daughter, then i cut his head off personally." He continued, "I didn't let anyone touch my daughter, I wonder where she is now? She probably moved a long time ago-""Old Man! Shut Up already!" I almost shouted, "Again you are very disrespectful."
"Oh look. It's Lensk! Now shut up so I don't look mad." I protested.
He muttered something but I didn't particularly care. I dismounted Titan, to give him a load off. I looked around as we entered the snow covered town.Where's the Inn and tavern? I searched for the words that would give me peace. I walked towards the middle of town. The tailors, Miners co., City hall, Shops. Oh wow they have an Opera House? I've always wanted to see an Opera. I spot the stables and walk Titan over, handing the reins to the stable boy. I reached into my pocket to grab some silver pieces.
"He's a special one so take good care of my Titan."
I handed the kid the silver with an extra gold piece and turned on my heel to look around. "If you keep giving every young lad a gold piece, you are going to be broke by the end of the day."
He chimed in "Don't question my ethics." I jabbed back at him. I finally found the Inn and Tavern, "Thank the Gods." I muttered,
"Do you not enjoy my company?"
"It's not that, it's just I'd rather be slightly intoxicated so I don't have to deal with you." I whispered.
I chuckled at his silence. I bee lined for the door, avoiding mid-day vendors, and mid-day drunkards. As soon as I go to open the door it flys open again. I shake my head thinking it's Glacies, but then a drunk fell out of the tavern on to the ground in front of me, "Oh." Is all I said as I stepped over him into the tavern.
The tavern is obviously the most lively place of the town, it seemed as if the whole town was shoved into this small building. I push through all these men to go up to the bar. Luckley I managed to find a stool at the bar.
There was a man on my left who was fast asleep, and there was a man to my right talking to what I can assume is his buddy.
The Bartender was occupied with some gentleman wanting to fight. There was a waitress next to him, so I waved her down until she finally noticed me.
I couldn't see her face until she came into closer view. She looked mature, yet she looked very cute. She was on the shorter side, though compared to me everyone is short, but she was short compared to everyone. She had her brown hair up in tight bun, her long yellow vest clung to her figure, as well as her pants.
"Can I help you, Sir?" She crossed her arms over her chest, "Or did you just want a better view? I'm not some toy for you to look at." She pushed her glasses up her nose in an annoyed fashion.
"No, my sincere apologies miss. I'd just like a room upstairs, and a glass of ale." She looked surprised with my response. "Yes, of course sir. Let me go get you an ale."
She walked away swiftly, her coat flowing behind her as she walked. She quickly grabbed and filled up a cup. She turned around and met my gaze, for a moment then she looked away her face getting a bit pink.
I smiled as I looked forward. That was really cute. She kept her head low as she brought me my drink. "I don't think I got your name?"
