Chapter Four

Narrator POV:

You were in Chemistry, the class before lunch had started and coincidentally the only class you had with Kim Taehyung.

This class is so boring, I'm going to my phone.

You opened your phone under the table and between your legs and to not cause suspicion, you looked up every once in a while and nodded your head and looked very curious. Suddenly, you felt your phone vibrate with an airdrop photo taking up the screen.

Shit. He sent me an airdrop photo of himself from under the table too. Ugh what do I do..
wow, he looks good in it.

You then look up and turn around to face Taehyung, who was three seats behind you, who was already smiling adorably at you. You quickly turn back around and embarrassingly continue your assignments.

Chemistry class had ended, and you were also looking forward to meeting up with V for lunch, so you waited at the same place you had met and stood there quietly for about five minutes.

"Hey, there you are!! Y/N, I've been meaning to ask you to sit with us for lunch, you know, cause you're new and all?" Park Yungso, the girl that assisted you in the bus when your backpack ripped and all your books fell, walked up to you and gave you a friendly hug.
"This is Jen, she's been my best friend for ever.. Jen say hi." The shy girl came from behind Yung and timidly waved at you.

"Oh.. you want to sit with me at lunch?"
I mean Tae isn't even here, he must have forgotten about me so I should just go with her.
"Hmm. Okay, I mean I have no one el-"

"Hey Y/N, ready?"

A tall figure had suddenly appeared on the left of you, once again towering over you and smiling with those same puppy like eyes.

"K-k-Kim Taehyung... y-y-you're sitting with her for lunch?" Jen nervously bowed to him and stepped back.

"Yah, are these girls bothering you, Y/N? You shouldn't be hanging out with losers like them. Everyone at our table is waiting for you, too." V eyed disgustedly at the girls and back to you with sweet eyes.

"Hey, no they're not bothering me, they're actually my FRIENDS." You were started to become angry at what Taehyung has just said about your new friends.
"You know what? Since you called them that, I'm not going to accept your 'free lunch' offer, so run along."

Taehyung stuttered, "H-hey, oKAY I'm sorry.. I didn't know they were your friends." He turned to face the embarrassed girls and bowed awkwardly and looked at you. Everyone that had been surrounding you then started gasping and whispering to each other.

You couldn't hear what each and everyone was saying but you could make out one person whisper, "He never bows to anyone, why them?"

Yungso and Jen's mouths were both wide open, and they quickly bowed back and said at the same time, "It's okay, your apology is accepted with thanks."

You then looked around and back at Taehyung, "Fine, I'll sit with you, on one condition," Taehyung nodded quickly and pouted his mouth and shoved both of his hands in his pocket.

"They have to sit with me."

Gasps came from both the girls' mouths.

"Okay okay, we'll be on our ways, everyone." Taehyung looked around at everyone staring and swiftly grabbed your hand and led you to the lunch area with Yung and Jen following from behind.
