Hello everyone. My name is Angel and I'm new here on Wattpad. Soul and Maka are my favorite weapon and meister pair and couple. This is my first published fanfiction and I'm really excited. So I hope you enjoy.

The White Room was filled with books and and beautiful wicker furniture. On the table sat a vase containing beautiful white roses.
Maka's favorite. The room had no windows, but silky cream-colored curtains covered the entrance so no one could see inside.
Maka sat on one of the benches looking at the door leading to the Black Room. Soul's room. She was dressed in a white dress that stopped just above her knees. In her hair were long white ribbons, and she wore no shoes. Just a pair of white thigh-highs.
She continued to look at the door. It was a red door that has Soul's name in black letters. Compared to the rest of the white wall it was and eye sore. At least for someone like Kid. But to Maka it was the symbol of connection between her soul and that of her Meister's.
She knew Soul hated it when she would go into the Black Room, because it shows the deepest part of him. His thoughts, his feelings, his insanity. But Maka didn't let that stop her. Mostly because she knew it was her fault that the room was now Black. It used to be beautifully white like hers. The piano, the furniture, everything. But now it's tainted with blackness and darkness. And it was her fault.
She hated thinking about that night. The worst night of her life.
It started off normal. Maka was in the kitchen making dinner. Soul sat in the living room playing a video game, talking with Blair. She was currently in her cat form curled up in Soul's lap.
Maka couldn't quite hear what they were talking about over the sound of the boiling pot of pasta she was making for Soul and the frying fish for Blair. But as long as she wasn't stuffing her breasts in Soul's face and she kept herself decently clothed, they got along pretty well. Dinner was almost done when Maka heard Soul shouting.
"Blair, don't you dare!" He screamed running after her. They both scrambled into the kitchen. Blair jumped onto Maka's shoulder.
"Maka Chan!" Blair exclaimed. "Soul Kun has something to tell you!"
"No I don't! Shut up Blair!" Soul shouted, his face beet red. He tried to grab Blair, but she leaped off Maka's shoulder and ran out of the kitchen. Soul sighed.
"What was that all about?" Maka asked.
"Oh you know, she's weird." Soul replied, shrugging. He still looked extremely embarrassed which Maka thought was kind of cute.
"Tell me something I don't know!" Maka scoffed. "Like what Blair was talking about. Is there something you're not telling me?"
"It's nothing." Soul said running his fingers through his hair. Maka stared.
        "What?" Soul asked.
"Am I really that unreliable?" Maka sighed, looking hurt.
"You said it, not me." Soul mumbled.
"Shut up!" She spat chopping him with a book. Where does she get those books? Soul thought? They seem to just appear conveniently when she needs one!
"You didn't have to hit me!" Soul said angrily rubbing his head.
"I mean it Soul." Maka said. "I know you think it's 'not cool ' to share your feelings, but this isn't about being cool. This is about our partnership."
"Where is this coming from?" Soul asked. "What did i do?"
"Like I said Soul," Maka continued, " you need to open up more. You can tell me anything."
She reached out, and set her hand on his face.
Soul felt like he couldn't breathe. Her hand was warm on his face. It was so comforting.
"I'm your weapon, Soul. And I swore the day we become partners that I would protect you. Even if it meant losing my life."
Soul put his hand on Maka's which he gently pulled from his face and held it tight. With the other hand, he pulled his beautiful weapon closer.
Upon sensing his intentions, Maka froze. She knew what he was about to do. Was he really going to....... kiss her? She couldn't fully process what was going on. She had dreamed of this. Dreamed of one day being kissed by her meister.
That he would wrap her in his arms, and she would get to stare into his crimson eyes as he kissed her. But now, it was actually happening...
She watched as Soul came closer. His eyes has traveled to her lips, and he had a hungry look in his eyes. It scared her. That wasn't the soft, sweet gaze she'd imagined. It.... it just wasn't right.
Soul closed his eyes, parted his lips, and.....she pulled away from him.
Maka instantly felt guilty when Soul opened his eyes, and she saw a look of hurt in them.
"I'm sorry, Soul." Maka almost whispered. "I'm just not ready." Soul nodded.
"I understand." He said. She could hear a trace of sadness on his voice. He wrapped his arms around her, and held her.
"I'm sorry keeping you in the dark." He whispered. "From now on I'll share my feelings with you more."
"Thank you." She said hugging him back. Which in her opinion was better than kissing. At least for now. She just wasn't  ready for that yet.
Soul pulled away, and kissed Maka's cheek. Making her blush, and she couldn't help but smile.
"I'm going for a walk. I need some air. Plus, I donno where Blair went."
"Okay." Maka said, still smiling. Don't be long, dinner is almost done"
"I won't." He gave her a smile and squeezed her hand before letting it go.
Soul grabbed a jacket, and when she heard the front door close, Maka sighed dreamily, and the whole time she was cooking, all she could think about was her handsome meister and what he had promised her.
