Never had I been more disappointed to see my daughter. I wanted it to be Phil. I want him to tell me we would make it through this. He'd been by my side since I was like 18 and I wasn't prepared to loose him, yet I was too exhausted to fight for us.
I invited Jess into my house and we ate the food. Eventually I began to tell her everything.
"So as per usual, we couldn't be bothered cooking so I offered to go and get a takeaway. I wanted a Chinese but Phil didn't so I told him to decide where we should eat and he told me that I had to use my brain sometimes so I got annoyed because it felt like he had called me stupid or something so we argued and he told me that I'm an adult and that I should start making my own decisions, so I did, I decided to walk out and I texted him saying I don't know when I'll be back but goodbye and I came here and he kept calling me and I ignored them and now I can't get hold of him and I'm scared he's done something stupid" I said between snuffles and wiping tears away.
"Are you serious? Just say sorry for being a dick and that you'll use your brain more" she laughed
"I miss him... a lot" I sighed
"I know, ring him" she said. I instantly grabbed my phone and called "future hubby" but he didn't reply. Jess called him from her phone and he answered. She put it on speakerphone
"Hello? Jess, what's up it's midnight." His voice soothed me
"Phil? Babe? Please just listen." I croaked
"Why should I?" He sighed
"Dad omg listen to him" Jess said
"Please. I'm sorry. And I know I'm crazy, but I'm crazy about you and I literally can't cope without you. I love you more then ever. Please"
"Come over in the morning and I might care, I'm tired" Phil yawned.
Not long after we finished our food, jess went home and promised to ring me once she got in. I decided to take myself to bed, making sure I wasn't falling asleep while fixing my relationship.
