Thinking Jane was having a boy. Thomas Seymour poisoned and stabbed little Prince Hal. Jane gave birth to a stillborn son a week later. Thomas was executed and Jane was divorced and taken to a covent because of her insanity.

Knowing he would never have an heir the king made Princess Elizabeth the Princess of Wales and Princess Margaret Duchess of York. The betrothal was changed that at 14 Prince Charles would come to England and they would wed at 16.
