"Hey!" Robyn shouted as she ran at the man causing the chaos. He currently held up a child off the ground, and was about to punch him when he heard Robyn. He looked over to find the girl approaching him as she stopped a few feet away from where he stood.
"So some poor soul wants to pick a fight with me, eh? I'll be with you in a minute, sweet cheeks, first I feel like turning this runt here into pulp," the man said with a sinister grin. He turned and looked at the kid, who was crying and calling for help, and raised his fist. As he threw his punch, however, his hand was abruptly caught, and a shock wave of force pulsed out from the collision. The man looked over and found Robyn now standing next to him, his fist in her hand. He looked surprised for a moment before he took in Robyn's appearance and started to laugh.
"Oh man, I get to beat the life out of Valiant's daughter of all people. What a lucky day for me!" The man turned back to the boy. "Get out of here, runt. I have someone more fun to play with now." As he said this, the man tossed the kid aside with great force, and his body flew towards the nearest building. Before the boy could hit the wall, though, Robyn managed to intercept his path and catch him. She gently set the boy down, and looked him in the eyes.
"Go find your parents, okay? I'll deal with that guy," she instructed. The boy nodded with tears in his eyes and then ran from the danger. Robyn looked back at the man with a disgusted face. "People like you are scumbags," she said. The man's grin merely grew larger.
"Thanks for the compliment. I'll make sure to remember it as I pummel you into the ground!" The man burst forward, and the ground cracked underneath him as he sailed towards Robyn. She waited until the man was close enough, then just as he tried to strike her, she ducked, grabbed his arm, and flipped him overhead through the wall of the building behind her. After a few seconds of silence, the man suddenly flew out through the hole his body had created and slammed his fist directly into Robyn's face, which sent her flying back. She managed to stop herself right before she would have collided with a parked car, but then the man jumped at her again. Before Robyn could regain her bearings, the man grabbed onto her shirt and pulled her body forward. He thrust his knee into Robyn's abdomen before he tossed her up into the air. He again threw a punch at her head, then he grabbed her by her face and threw her straight into a metal lamppost, which cracked with a loud snap and fell over.
"Come on, little girl, don't you have any fight in you? This isn't much fun if all you're gonna do is be my punching bag," the man said while he cracked his knuckles and he walked towards Robyn. She stood back up on shaky legs and coughed up some blood. She looked up at the man then vanished. She reappeared behind him and lashed out with a punch. The man ducked under her swing, grabbed her arm and flipped her overhead like she had done to him before, which sent her right through a brick wall. "Come on, girly, let me have some fun!" the man called out.
"You want fun?" Robyn's voice yelled from inside the building. "Then have it!" Robyn flew out and grabbed onto the man. She then rapidly spun before she let the man go, which sent him skidding down the road. The man stood up just in time for Robyn to appear in front of him and hit him with an uppercut, then grab him midair and slam him down against the ground. As the man bounced, she spun around with a jump, then kicked him down the street. Robyn stood there, her breaths coming in heavy pants as she looked at the man's downed body.
"That was pretty good," the man said, then he jumped up from the ground and smirked at Robyn. "But nowhere near good enough." He flew forward, and as he reached Robyn, he threw a quick succession of punches, which raised her higher and higher off of the ground. Then he grabbed her and brought her down against his raised knee. He kept up the momentum, and again gave a rapid series of punches before grabbing Robyn's arm. With a yell, the man swung Robyn's body over his head and into the ground behind where he was standing. As she bounced off the ground,he grabbed back onto her arm, and swung her around in a circle before he released her and made her collide with several cars on her path before she hit the ground with a loud 'thunk' and created a large crater around her. The man stood and waited for Robyn to get up, but she didn't move.
