Chapter 5 Reunions and Seperation

I smiled at all the people knowing we weren't the only ones, that the human race survived. I wanted to look around the market that was being built, but the blinded lady wouldn't let me. She said it was too dangerous because people are using their new powers to build. Brad and the guy with taper over his ears disappeared somewhere, I assume they went to find me and Brad a place to sleep. 

I was thrilled at everyone and thing that was there. I did wonder it wasn't even an afternoon and people already gathered and created a new system of life, but said with new there must be an old. With old come death and hardship and of course the ache of seeing others rejoin their families, while you have no idea where your own is.

I Was zoning out at the thought of my family but then rejoined the world once the the blinded lady tug on my arm. We were in front of an old man, that was cover in tattoos and peircings, I was terrifed of him. So big and scary, but that fear was quickly got when the lady asked for six bowls of soup and he gave us them and smiled. We both smiled back and I saw a little blush from him towards the blind lady, of course a gave a little giggle. "He Blinded Lady that man likes you."

"I know thats why he gave us six bowls." She made her way through the crowd of people like she was flowing water going around rocks. She moved swiftly and kept a quick pace, I tried to copy her, but that almost ended in soup all over but I did make it through. "You that man. He likes me because I'm strong. We woke up semi-close to eachother, and just like you we were attacked by the animals. Me I found out about the powers quickly and held the animals off so they couldn't get us. Then Mr Macho Leader of ours came and quickly got us out of there."

I smiled knowing that there was still love but sadly I felt like I was missing it. "My heart feels empty but im not to sure why though." We finally met up with the rest of the group and sat down, gave them their bowls and ate. I started coughing at the taste of it, it was discussing but it was food, but the smell I just couldn't eat anymore. I jumped alittle when the blinded lady closed my nose which was fixed by now, so I could eat. I told her she didn't need to but she kept them their. I ate it quickly we all did and all coughed after. "Whats in this, its different from what I'm use to."

Every just laughed, I felt everything was normal and right. All our laughed stop when a group of few men were walking around ringing bells yelling that anyone the ages of 5-18 will be going to school. I wasn't to happy about, I was hoping for a no school, but sadly even that was ruin. Both me and Brad, and gave a look of depression, which didn't make the blinded women or the guy with taped ears happy. "Hey taped ear and Macho Leader Guy I need to have a talk."

The three got up and dissappeared into a crowd, while the Mrs Sparky talked to us and kept showing us her powers. "Hey Mrs. Sparky were you a inmate or gaurd." She laughed at us...

"Well I'll tell you if you tell me why you were near the beach." She hinted that she knew something.

I was going to answer but Brad butted in, "Well we were celebrating Fire's Wall birthday. We went to the pier while his parents set up for the party. Our friends forced us to get on the ferris wheel alone with each other and watched us like hawks. Then the glowed happen and all i could remember was someone's lips on mine." We bother blushed and she only laughed that she knew. "Now tell us."

"Fine fine fine, I wont tell you I'll show you." She grabbed a piece of her clothing that was bright orange with a number." We looked at eachother with a shock of knowing, knowing that she was a inmate. "You boys need to learn you can tell a lot by people pyshical appeal, but don't rely on it to much because people thoughts are differently showen." She pointed out a woman and man that looked barely harmed and had alot of plastic surgery. I didn't notice the fake wig. "Now tell me about them and what kind of people you they are."
