His point of view -
In the wee hours of morning i was hanging from the edge of the bed while Pie and the kids occupied most of the bed.
The kids were not babies anymore so naturally they moved around a lot.
Finally when the sun came up i got up and allowed Pie to sleep comfortably.
I sat on the couch and switched on my laptop.
Pie sensing my absence opened her eyes slightly to look at me..
"Dexy.."
"Its alright baby . I am right here..go back to sleep."
She dragged herself to the couch and plooped down beside me, putting her head on my shoulder.
"You hardly had a few hours of sleep .."
"Its okay.. its a sunday.."
"So how did they like our gift..?" We had gifted a weekend stay at a 5 star hotel to Birdie and Big B as an engagement gift.
"Oh they were so shy about it..it was so cute.."
We talked for a few more minutes about last night and halfway through Pie was asleep again.
I finished up my work and switched off the laptop in time for the boys to wake up..
"Mommy.." J.J whined rubbing his eyes tiredly.
I carefully laid Pie down on the couch and picked J.J up. He quickly snuggled into my chest.
"What is the matter baby..?"
"Monster " he hiccuped. We shouldn't have watched the movie last night. Even though it was only cartoon the boys were obviously scared.
"Hey its okay..Daddy is here..we will fight the monster okay..?" He nodded in my chest still scared.
I rocked him for a few minutes and he was asleep again..
Her point of view -
I was woken up by vigorous shaking from somebody.
"Mommy..." Junior hicuped.
"Yes mommy is up now.. what happened baby..?" I asked sitting up on the couch now..
"I got a boo boo.." he replied sniffling
"Really ..? Let me see."
He had scraped his knee and there was a small cut on his elbow. I quickly got into mom mode taking him to the bathroom and cleaning his wound. My baby is such a good boy he din't cry at all.
"Where is daddy and bhai..?"
"Daddy and bhai are playing football with Titlu and J and didu and bhaiyu " he said climbing into my lap.
"Did you eat something .?" Yes Daddy made pancakes for all of us.
"What about mommy..?" I ask faking sadness.
" J said mommy can have Daddy for breakfast.." he replied giggling. J tried his best to spoil our kids but its okay we tried our best to spoil his too..
"Lets go and eat J for breakfast .." I picked him up because apparently he was hurt and he couldn't walk. I am sure he picked up the Drama genes from his father.
" Mommy up up." J.J requested. These boys were at the age where one wanted up the other wanted too.
I picked him up in my other arm and headed over to J.
"Good morning..what is it that you were teaching the kids this morning..?" I question.
"Oh that .. it was nothing.. I was just saying that Mommy can eat breakfast made by Daddy.. Right boys..?" and the boys nodded. Traitors.
"By the way your princess told me about this boy in her class.." i said letting the boys down.
"What boy..?" Ahan.. strike one.
"Oh i don't know sits next to her.."
"What..?" Strike two..
"Princess come here.." he called out to his eldest.
"Yes Daddy.."
"Morning si.."
"Who sits nex to you in class.?" He asks trying to be subtle.
"My best friend.."
"Who..? " He questions again. she looks at me giving me a weird look and then looks back at her father.
"Oh you know her Daddy. She is been to our house.."
"So its a girl.."
"Ofcourse its a girl..my brother won't have it otherwise..silly Daddy.." she says shaking her head and walking away.
"Silly Daddy.." i say and shake my head too.
"So score is even now.." he says smiling.
"Yea even."
"Where is your other half.?"
"Oh she is sleeping she got in late last night..shouldn't you be sleeping too..?"
"Yea but Junior woke me up."
"Your boys are so whipped.." he says handing me some tea.
"Only till they don't get into their teens."
We watch Dexy and the kids play football while J and me joke around..
Few hours later -
Everybody was worn out from playing for hours so we were all resting in the T.V room where some movie was playing. We watched whatever the twins picked.
We had decorated this room really casually with seating only on the ground and a coffee table in the center.
Dexy sat one side while J.J sat on the other..Junior on my lap.
The twins sat together to our right while J and sissy sat on the other side with Titlu. We all were enjoying pizza and the movie when my phone beeped with a message.
'I need to take my grandparents blessing before the wedding.'
I looked over at sissy and she was looking at me too.
"Oh no.." she mouthed
