Chapter 3

Todoroki's P.O.V

Everyone was just relieved that Midoriya was gone, but sadness was rooted deep into our hearts. We didn't know who had died in our class neither did we know who escaped.

Kaminari rushed Jirou to the hospital, Iida and Tsuyu couldn't bare the fact that Uraraka is probably dead. That left me and Yaoyorozu, we were taken for questioning by the police.

Once that was over, I walked Yaoyorozu home, we had a lot to discuss. "How do we break the news to his mom," She said,
"Honestly, I don't know, things are kinda unstable right now, we need to find out the missing victims, the ones who escaped and the ones who are..........dead," My voice faltered.
"Why? I just don't understand why, he was perfectly fine with us in UA, what made him betray us, why all this death and confusion!!" She said, her voice cracking.

She was worried, worried and frustrated, this was too much for her to handle as well. "That was quick thinking, back there, Yaoyorozu." I said out of the blue,"Without that plan I don't think all of us would have made it out in one piece, really though, thank you for saving us," I didn't mean to blurt out that much but it was true.

She stopped, she was crying softly and then she hugged me "No. Thank you, Todoroki." Not gonna lie, that hug threw me off guard but still, it felt good, it made me happy to know that there were people who would always be there for me, people who cared for me just as much as I did for them. I was determined to make sure that Yaoyorozu never put too much stress on herself, I would always be there to support and help her.

Iida's P.O.V

After the incident in the hall yesterday, I didn't feel stable. Not just the fact that Uraraka was probably dead but also the fact that Midoriya was willing to steal her quirk, I still didn't exactly know how Midoriya's quirk worked but the rough idea was that he could steal other people's quirks and probably kill them in the process.

Midoriya was someone I looked up to, he was sooo friendly and awkward but had a strong sense of justice, seeing his other side, his real side, made me wonder if I could ever trust anyone again. It was hard to believe that the good side of him was all just an act.

Come on Tenya, you need to stop thinking about all of this and concentrate on the present situation, Uraraka is gone, Midoriya is a villain and some of our classmates are dead. You need to help the other heroes to solve this mess.

I mentally gave myself a pep talk as I walked to Kirishima's house. He had called us there, to discuss our situation. I was the first to arrive (as punctuality is necessary) and then I could hear the news reporters on the TV. They were interviewing Principal Nezo, Aizawa sensei and the rest of the UA staff.

There were sooo many protests and questions,
"How are you going to take responsibility for the dead and injured students?"
"How can we guarantee that UA is safe anymore?"
"Aren't you responsible for tracking down the missing students?"
"Will you continue teaching students at UA?"

Suddenly the TV switched off, "I'm sick of hearing those annoying reporters over and over again," Said Kirishima. He looked exhausted, there were bags under his eyes, he was extremely saddened as well, since Bakugo was also supposedly dead,

45 minutes later

"Minoru Mineta, Rikito Sato, Koji Koda, Mezo Shoji, Itsuka Kendo, Maashiro Ojiro and Yuga Aoyama were all presumed dead yesterday at the incident that took place in the UA auditorium," Said Yaoyorozu, she then took out another paper, "Ochako Uraraka, Katsuki Bakugo, Fumikage Tokoyami, Mei Hatsume and Hitoshi Shinsou are currently missing," Finished Yaoyorozu.

All of us were quiet, the only people remaining in our class were Mina, Hagakure, Sero, Kaminari, Jirou, Tsuyu, Yaoyorozu, Todoroki, Kirishima and myself. "I hate him, I hate him so much," Yelled Kirishima "Look what he did," He spat "He ruined so many people's lives, injured many more and is probably torturing the ones who are missing, that freaking IDIOT!!!" Kirishima was going insane. I had never seen him like this before.

"We'll get them back Kirishima," Kaminari reassured him. I nodded in agreement. "Yaoyorozu," I said "Can you explain what Midoriya's real quirk is." She took a deep breath, she too looked exhausted.

"Well, I've noticed that his quirk is the ability to steal another quirk, he can steal as many as he wants and in doing so, has a high chance of killing the victim. But the victims who were dead, had their quirks stolen and were stabbed, which meant that Midoriya killed them on purpose and not just because of his quirk."

Everyone was stunned and disgusted as well, since the way Midoriya used his quirk was gruesome. "I visited Midoriya's mom on my way here, she was devastated and as she was talking she mentioned the fact that apparently Midoriya was said to be quirkless and how she was surprised when she got to know that he had a magnetism quirk at the age of 15." Yaoyorozu said.

This was a completely new piece of information, everyone was once again stunned and urged Yaoyorozu to continue, "My guess is that either somehow Midoriya acquired his quirk because someone passed it down to him. In doing so, Midoriya might have probably stolen a quirk. A month and a half before UA started, a villain named Magne was found dead. Magne's quirk was exactly the same as Midoriya's,"

"So you're saying that Midoriya was probably behind the death of Magne, used his month and a half to not just gain control of the quirk but to also give anyone knowing him enough time to register the fact that his quirk was magnetism and nothing suspicious," Said Todoroki.
"Yes, exactly!" Said Yaoyorozu.
"That was pretty well thought out," Said Sero.

"But the main two questions here is, Why did Midoriya choose to be a villain and Who passed down their quirk (if it's possible) to Midoriya." Said Yaoyorozu. "This is a lot to take in," said Kaminari. "But what do we do about all of this?" Said Mina, worry etched on her face. "Right now it's hard to tell but I think we can get some intel from the pro heroes by tomorrow," I said.

Everyone looked at me, hope shining on their faces, "Alright then, we need to make a plan of action, we need a place to discuss,"
"I'll be happy if all of you will be able to meet up at my residence day after tomorrow," Said Yaoyorozu. Everyone was smiling mildly at her slight bounciness, even Todoroki smiled.
"Then it's settled, we meet up at Yaoyorozu's place," I said.

Heyyyy!!!! I know this chapter is kinda boring but it's sort of like a chapter to just settle a couple of stuff. And hope u liked the mini todomomo moment, Anyways the next chapter will probably be more interesting so yea.
