Chapter Five: Confession

Alister follows as Ratchet travels to his ship. He wasn't sure where they were off to, but he assumed it was another mission.

"Where are we going?"

Ratchet climbs and jumps into his ship, speaking as he started up the ships engine.

"We're going to Aleero city, Quark said its urgent"

"Urgent huh?"

The general shrugged, climbing into the ship, sitting and laying back with a huff.

"I miss my ship"

"Its a shame Sigmand couldn't save it being wrecked"

The young Lombax informed as he shut the ship window, Aphelion hovering higher before she blasts off to space. Ratchet kept a tight grip on the steering, clearly quite tense as it was suddenly silent between them. Either of them wanted this moment to be awkward.

"Ratchet-?" "Alister-?"

They both look at each other after they spoke at the same time, Alister clearing his throat.

"Uh, go ahead, I interrupted -"

"No no it was me-"

Again, it fell silent. It was extremely awkward now, and Alister's fingertips pat his own thigh. After a few seconds, Alister decided to 'break the ice' a bit.

"W-well.. I just wanted to ask if you were okay, you seemed to have had a pretty bad dream last night"

"Its nothing.. It was just a dream, I'm fine"

"Oh, of course"

Alister looks out of the window, his attention away from Ratchet. The younger Lombax glances at him, frowning a little before turning his attention back to deep space.

Activating the warp drive, they burst into deeper space, travelling at the speed to light to the Solana galaxy.

While in wrap drive, Ratchet laid back, relaxing a little as he put the ship on autopilot. Alister was still staring out of the window, before his attention turned to Ratchet, who held a tense expression.

"Ratchet, what's wrong?"

The yellow Lombax shook his head, turning his head away, hugging himself

"Nothing.."

By his tone, he was lying. The younger was not okay, and the general didn't understand why he was lying. He'd had enough.

Taking Ratchet's wrist, he pulled the other forward, staring at him seriously.

"No, you're not".

This behaviour made Ratchets eyes widen, staring at him in some fright. He didn't fight, he couldn't.

"Ratchet, tell me the truth"

The elder's expression softened, his grip softening too. He wanted to seem serious about wanting an answer, but kept calm so he wouldn't scare him.

Ratchet stared at him before his head bowed, his lip trembling slightly. Alister looked down to see his expression; before he knew it, Ratchet had grabbed his collar, pulling him into a- Kiss?!

Alister's eyes widen, letting Ratchets wrists go slowly. His face flushed red, shocked and flustered to see he was being kissed. Slowly, as Ratchet pulled away, the general laid a hand on his lips, still staring at the younger.

Ratchet just looked back, sighing.

"I like you, okay.. I have since I lost you.. 'cause I realised how important you were to me.. "

Even Ratchet blushed in embarrassment, but was nervous to hear what the elder had to say.

Looking back up at the elder, Ratchet went to speak before he was stopped by a returning kiss.

Ratchet's eyes widen this time, he wasn't expecting a kiss back! However, he returned the generals kiss.

The general then pulled away from his kiss, holding onto Ratchet's chin with a finger and thumb. Smiling softly, the general spoke in a whisper.

"I didn't think it would take this long for you to finally admit"

The younger's emerald green eyes shimmer, returning a smile.

"I've wanted to do it for a long time"

Looking at each other for a few seconds, they both then decided to slam their lips together. Ratchet held onto Alister's shoulders, while Alister held onto Ratchet's hips.

After a few seconds, Alister pulled Ratchet onto his lap. Ratchet was now straddling him, their tongues intertwining, fighting for dominance.
A few moans came from them both.

Alister thought about what he was doing. There was a few moments of doubt in his mind but being stuck in the moment, he didn't care. His hands travel down his back to cup his ass, which made Ratchet's face light up.

All the general could do was chuckle, pulling away from the heated kiss to smirk.

"Not use to such attention, correct?"

Shy to admit it, Ratchet nods slowly. He didn't get much sexual attention, and it wasn't really on his mind before. But now, there are mixed feelings.

Before Alister could speak, the ship came out of hyper drive, arriving just off of planet _____, home of Aleero city.

Ratchet turned his head to look out of the window, blinking before he cleared his throat.

"O-oh , I guess we're here"

The young Lombax crawled off Alister's lap, sitting in his own seat. It was awkward, because he didn't really know what to do after something like a 'kissing session'.

Alister frowned as he got off, but knew Ratchet was young and new to lust, so he was going to be embarrassed. Shrugging it off, the elder kissed Ratchet's cheek.

"I'm glad you told me the truth"

Smiling shyly, the young Lombax raised his shoulders.

"You deserved the truth"

They both share a loving stare before Quark beeped on his nav unit. Ratchet huff before accepting his call.

"Yes Quark"

"Ah Ratchet, I was just wondering if you could look into something for me.. The authorities alerted me last night about a break in, in the teracnoid lab building outside Aleero city.. Something about a mysterious figure stealing a..a? Thingy power coil"

"A deluxe power coil?"

Ratchet corrected, rolling his eyes as he looked at Azimuth, who chuckled at Quark's stupidity.

"Yep! That's it! That's what I meant!.. Anyway, I'll send you the coordinates to your nav unit! Good luck, Captain Quark out!"

With that, Quark's hologram disappeared and Ratchet huffs in annoyance. Alister crossed his arms and chuckles again.

"I can tell you don't like the guy, Ratchet"

"Yeah well, it's not that I don't like him, it's more that I.. Uh.. - yeah, I don't like him"

"It shows"
