It was a matter of urgency, seeing him, feeling him...... his scent, suffocating and oh so intoxicating. I was falling deeper than I had intended, he was consuming my every thought all of me wanted him;I yearned for his presence.

No, I don't love him, nor will I - but I could- It's too risky.

I sit every day in my room trying not to let the images swarm me, his being overtake me, but with every thought I felt myself losing to him.

I could feel him now, in his absence towering over me, hovering just above the surface and taking me prisoner with his stare. Eyes of the purest of browns bore into my soul, skin in a majestic shade of ebony heated my waiting body...... I could hear his heartbeat- feel his hot breath on my skin, his whispers a welcomed disturbance to my waiting form.

His fingertips teasingly trailed crevices of my body I never knew existed;leaving ripples of electricity and his energy taunting me. I was losing my mind....slowly, hauntingly and -oh so-beautifully.

I accepted him whole, flaws and all, into my body.....

Into my mind......

Into my soul.....

It was an unnecessary kind of love, the kind you don't expect but fully immerse yourself into, the kind one would spend years looking for and yet it'd found us in the worst of places......in the worst of times.

It was in these moments where it was just the two of us, in our most vulnerable of forms that he seemed to truly be mine. Time spent talking of his day's activities seemed like a meeting with the queen.....the excitement, the joy.... he was overwhelming.

Every word spoken by him seemed to make my heart grow a little bit more, creating more space for him to take up within me.

Bouts of his laughter were Indian summer days to my most gloomy winters, if I could bottle his laughter; I would.

He was mine and I was his.
