Brady's POV
I wake up slowly, and I can't help but smile when I open my eyes. I mean, who could not smile if they wake up to see Angela's angelically beautiful face every morning? I stroke her multi-colored hair, gently brushing it out of her face. I kiss her forehead and her eyes open slowly. She smiles up at me and I gently kiss her on the lips. She kisses me back sweetly. I deepen the kiss and she smirks against my lips. Then she pulls away. I sigh, but can't help but smile. She's insisting that we don't have sex until our wedding night. It's been driving me insane, but I don't want to push her to do something she doesn't want to do. I give her one last quick peck on the lips.
"Morning, babe." I say softly.
"Morning." She says with a yawn. She stretches a bit, then snuggles up against me with a sigh. "Yesterday was fun, except for the whole being dragged by Matt thing."
"Yeah, it was fun." I agree. She closes her eyes for a minute, then sits up.
"We might as well start getting ready since we're up." She says, already climbing over me out of the bunk. I can't help but stare in amazement as she jumps to the floor and lands perfectly with only a soft thud, all without touching me at all. No wonder I never wake up when she gets out of bed in the morning. She's like a frickin ninja! I climb out of the bunk after her, much less gracefully. I straighten and look at her. She's wearing a blue tank-top with a black lace collar and black lace straps. There's black lace around the bottom hem as well. The blue fabric is silk. She's also wearing a pair of black Hello Kitty pajama bottoms with a huge hole in the right knee. I can't help but smile. I'm wearing just a pair of black plaid pajama bottoms.
"Why do you have to be so beautiful?" I ask. She blushes, she always blushes. It's the cutest thing in the world.
"I'll answer that question when you can tell me why you always have to be so hot." She answers. Now it's my turn to blush. I pull her into a hug and kiss her. She kisses back for a second, then pulls away and kneels down to get into the luggage compartment. She opens it and pulls out her suitcase. She rummages in it for a minute, then stands up and heads into the bathroom with the outfit she chose and her makeup bag. I head into the kitchen. Alex is in there already, making himself a sandwich.
"Hey Brady. I thought I heard voices." He says when I walk in.
"Yup." I walk over to the fridge and start making sandwiches for me and Ange.
"So today's you and Sierra's last day out here, huh?" He asks. I sigh.
"Unfortunately." I drop a piece of lettuce on the ground for Matt, who is always in the kitchen waiting for scraps. He lunges at it instantly and eats it, looking up at me when he's done. "No more. If your mommy finds out we'll probably never have human babies." I say to him. Alex starts choking on his sandwich and I get him a glass of water, laughing my head off. "What? It's true." I say once he stops choking.
"I know, that's what makes it funny." He says.
"What's true and funny?" Ange asks, walking in.
"Nothing." I say quickly, looking down at the floor.
"You've been giving him table scraps again haven't you?" She asks, crossing her arms.
"Yeah. And when Matt asked him for more he said that if you caught him then you two would never be having human babies." Alex says. Luckily, Ange just starts laughing. She bends down and rubs Matt's head lovingly.
"There's nothing wrong with having doggy children." She says defensively, still smiling.
"No, but I'd like real children too someday." I say. Alex starts picking at his sandwich, obviously uncomfortable with the direction the conversation has taken.
