4: jeremy and the moon
"i think i'm gonna to go to the moon."jeremy's mother looked at him with concern and doubt
but jeremy was a clever boy
"don't you want something a bit more realistic?"
"well the moon is real and i'm real. so why can't we be real together?"
see? clever.
"i am not funding any crackpot missions into outer space. you can find your own ride."
his father was a harsh man. never stayed in one place too long kinda like the tide. funny enough he hated the beach. "too much sand"
"jeremy don't be stupid."
his friends were harsh too, but they tried
"what a lame thing to do. i'm gonna play college ball bro. get real dreams."
jeremy can't really remember who said that
he has much too much to worry about now
his house, his kids
he no longer has time for stupid unrealistic ideas like he did when he was younger
ideas like going back to earth.
she sure is pretty from the moon, though.
