anyway let's discuss something that i've seen become a trend in the wattpad community.

Urban books.

now before we get to talking here's the definition according to my good sis google.

now the question is... why do people make urban books and it revolves around the same shit?

The main guy character is a drug dealer of some sorts and the girl is, a push over most of the time.

now what i mean by push over is when the guy cheats, is abusive,etc etc. she'll leave him alone for a couple weeks. a month max. but then she'll be like "oh i miss him." then they'll bump into each other next thing you know they having make up sex.

now there's some good urban books out there but honestly you can predict what's gone happen without even reading the book all the way. just by reading chapters 1-5 you already know what the book gone be about🤦🏽‍♀️

then another question. why do some of y'all romanticize abusive relationships? like for instance if the girl character were to be hitting on the guy y'all would praise tf outta her but when he hits back?

oh all of a sudden hell done froze over.

and now y'all talking bout "i'm finna get my brothers/uncles etc on him."

nah sis keep that same energy.

im just saying do something different. why the guy always gotta be a drug dealer? why can't he actually be something LEGAL?! Why can't he be smart and go to school? own a business? SOMETHING OTHER THAN DRUG DEALER.
