today marks 8 years of One Direction and the fandom couldn't be happier. not only them, but also the band themselves. for this very special day, i had decided to invite the guys over to celebrate, the only thing is, Harry doesn't know that i did this. it's a surprise.
i had told Harry that i was going to get Starbucks and that i will be back. of course, he told me to bring him one back. but, i was actually gonna go the airport and pick up Liam, Niall, and Zayn. (i mean come on, can't celebrate without him being there he was part of the band at one point) Louis was already in the UK, so i didn't have to pick him up. he was just at The X Factor recording for this years season. he would be arriving at the same time as i will. i told him if he arrived early to park outside and wait for me. but i knew that i still had to get Starbucks because Harry really loved his Starbiez.
Airport
i was waiting for the guys to land. but here's the thing, i was waiting for them in the airport, there would be too much fans and they would spoil the surprise. i had sent Harry's private jet to go pick them up instead.
i had gotten a text Niall just a few seconds after i was thinking about where they were.
Niall: we are landing in 5 minutes Niall: are you already there??
Me: yeah i'm here with Starbucks for all of you Me: don't worry, i got your guyz favorite drink
Niall: yasss! Niall: we need it we are pretty jet lagged
just after that last text, i see Harry's jet land. i smile in excitement! i get out the car and i wait for the jet to stop in front of me. soon enough, i see hands waving at me from the windows and i know that it's them.
i wave back at them and my smile grows. as soon as it stops moving i can hear the guys inside start to call out for me from inside. good thing i don't like to wear heels because i know i would step on their toes as soon as they pull me into a group hug.
they open it up and the guys come running towards me. like i said, they all crushed me in a bone crushing hug.
"y/n!" they all said.
"hey, guys!" i said as i smile.
"thank you so much for planning this. you have no idea how much we've missed each other!" Zayn said.
they all let me go and i was finally able to breathe again. "no problem. grab you stuff, Harry's gonna start asking questions if i don't arrive soon."
Home
once i arrived back at the house, i saw Louis parked outside. i beeped at him and he followed me inside. once the gates closed, we all piled out.
"leave your stuff inside the car still because i know that you are gonna end up hugging each other." they nodded.
"now wait here, i'll go grab him." i went inside all called for him.
"what? need help carrying in the drinks?" he joked.
"no, i also need help with the groceries." you said to him.
he smiled and followed you out. good thing you told the security guard that you two have to record because Harry's reaction made me cry. not only his reaction, but the way the entire band reacted.
when Harry stepped out and saw them. his hand quickly covered his mouth and i saw tears form in his eyes. he stood there for a while before he walked over to them and they gave each a group hug. they are started to cry by the time they were in each other's arms. i even started to cry.
Night Time
after having the entire day of the guys catching up with one another, we decided to have fun and celebrate 8 Years of One Direction.
we went out to the backyard and i brought the drinks. Harry brought out the cups and i start to set up their drinks.
"a toast to 8 Years of One Direction and a toast to my beautiful girlfriend for bringing us together for this amazing day." Harry said.
we all cheered and drank up.
