my daughter and i were sitting in the living room, watching Harry on TV.
"mommy! it's daddy!" she lounges forward and i giggle.
"yes, baby girl." i smile.
"so Harry, how was your first ever Christmas as a father?" James had asked.
"oh, well it was great. i just, i just couldn't stop smiling the whole time. (your daughters name) was just so cute every time she saw her present." Harry smiled at the thought of her.
"really?"
"yeah, yeah it was." Harry said.
"tell us one of your favorite part about Christmas." James suggested.
"well, she was on her third present and y/n and i would usually open up her present, but this time y/d/n wanted to open it. it's was really adorable because she was like, 'no! i wanna open!' y/n and i said 'okay' and we let her. and she starts peeling off the wrapping, she was amazing by what she was doing. the wrapping paper was all gone and we helped her open the box, and i took out a little puppy."
"wait, so you're telling me that you had a puppy in a box for who knows how long!?" James asked all shocked.
"what? no! Gemma had it for the day and then i told her to bring her 10 minutes before we started opening up the presents! so she wasn't in there for that long!" Harry chuckled.
"oh! well next time be more specific!" James laughed.
"next time let me finish!" Harry snapped back jokingly.
James and everyone else was shocked as well by Harry's comeback but everyone ended up laughing in the end.
"mommy, how daddy on tv?" y/d/n asked you.
"i don't know, baby. why don't we ask him when he comes home?" i smiled down at her.
"okay, mommy!"
