"Mom, Dad."
"What is it, iha?" Tita Margie asked.
Naku, tama ba itong ginagawa namin? Oo, Shreya.
"Huh? Why is that?" Tito Rex asked.
"Uh. Kasi Tito at Tita, wala na po palang bakanteng spot for Masscom course. I explained to them. White lies.
"Okay lang ba sayo ito, Margot?" Tita Margie asked.
"Opo, Mommy. Pabor na pabor. Uh, I mean, opo.
Those two school are known for being rivals." Tita Margie explained.
"Mom, okay lang po yun. Blood is thicker than water. Ang mahalaga po safe siya."
"What do you mean by safe?" Tito Rex butted in.
"Ah, I mean Dad.
I whined.
"Mabuti na yung nag-iingat no? At saka kukunin pa natin yung transcript of records mo sa OSA, dalian na natin habang maaga pa."
"Uhm, Mrs. Galvez. Margot said while coming forward dun sa sinasabi niyang Mrs. Galvez.
"Oh, Ms. Margot. Ikaw pala, kasama si Ms. Shreya, right?" she greeted us warmly.
I explained.
"Why, ayaw mo ba dito?"
"Uh. Hindi naman po sa ganun. Kaso---"
"Too bad, you are already enrolled.
And she handed me a paper at doon na nga tumambad sa akin ang sinasabi niyang enrolment form ko.
"Oh my God! Couz! Sinong may gawa nito?
"I know." I said in frustration.
"We are no longer accepting drop-outs Ms. Guevarra. Kahapon na din ang last day noon. And besides sayang din ang binayad mo sa tuition, it cannot be refunded."
"Nagbayad na po ako?!"
"Yes, you already paid the whole semester for the year."
"Wa-wait, how?" takang takang tanong ko.
"Well, I don't know Ms. Guevarra. But all I know is you already submitted your enrolment and you already paid your tuition fee."
"Couz, what was just happened?" Margot asked me in still daze.
