The next few weeks consisted of sleep and reading. Jade didn't have any friends. People always annoyed her. It was the fact of how ignorant they were to other people's backgrounds that annoyed her. Look at that tramp! Those shoes are so last season! Do you see what he's wearing? It looks like he brought his wardrobe from a charity shop! Look at that slut, she's had so many boyfriends there's no none left for her to go out with! Their comments infuriated her to the point where she felt like slapping them for their rudeness. They all said stuff like that, even the boys! The only person she knew that wasn't like it was her mother. It didn't matter how much the people around her were gossiping - she just stayed silent and let her beautiful brown curls hang by her shoulders. Her passive behaviour was probably why she was with Brian.
*Sorry if the next bit has bad grammar, it was written at 4 am*
Four weeks had passed since the start of the holiday when Jade awoke, triumphant and disturbed. She'd seen Brian. His mind was a mess of creepy thoughts and weird feelings. There was no love in his cruel mind, just as Jade had suspected in the first place. She almost felt sorry for his cold, heartless soul, but the pity was quickly demolished by the hidden intentions she knew he had with her mother. If she let her mother stay with Brian they would be homeless, penniless and devastated by the hurt he intended to cause.
How would she tell her mum she knew this? She would have to reveal her strange powers...but that would only make her seem more crazy. What could she do?! What could she do?! What could she do...

Teen FictionJade lived a life that is like no other. She could see things nobody could see. She was happy until her stepdad came along. And then she could see him... I just wanted to add that Jade's character was inspired by Orsay in Hunger by Michael Grant.
