Mannequins

I wake up after my little nap and head downstairs. I see everyone ,but Joey and Lele, sitting in the living room. Tim is the first one to see me and immediately jumps up, then everyone soon follows, "You're not gonna try and hit us again, are you?" He asks me. "No, I'm sorry I even tried to do it in the first place." I answered. Everyone sits and Oli pats the empty seat next to him and I go over, he puts his arm around me and let's me rest my head against his shoulder. "So I see that Joey and Lele are in the challenge, what do they have to do?" I ask turning to look at everyone. "They have to do something perverted." Matt tells me. "Who votes them in?" I'm just curious to see who doesn't like my two best friends. "I voted for Lele." Matt told me. No surprise there really. Glozell just started laughing and said, " I voted for Joey." God, is she crazy, she thinks someone dying is funny. I just nod not showing what I'm truly thinking. "You're not going to start throwing stuff if one of them doesn't come back, right?" Sierra questions me. "No, I'm not, like I said before I don't know why I did it. It's like something made me do it, I'm sorry okay, I promise I'm not going to try again. And I'm not working with the evil Glozell." I announce my apology and direct it to Glozell because I know what she's probably going to say. By them nodding, I think they have forgiven me a little. Oli hugs my closer to him, I blush and look down so he doesn't see. "I forgive you one hundred percent." He whispered into my ear.
We sit around now and talk about who is going to win the challenge. When all of a sudden Glozell starts choking. Everyone is screaming, asking if she's okay, going over to her to try and help. I don't move, I'm just in shock it's reminding me of Shane, how we couldn't save him. Tears are flowing down my eyes and Oli notices. He kneels down in front of me, covers my ears and makes sure I'm only looking at him. I can see he is saying 'It's alright.' trying his best to stop my tears. After Glozell stops moving, Oli uncovers my ears and we hear footsteps descending downstairs. It's Joey and Lele. "You guys, Glozell died!" Eva yells to them. "It was exactly like what happened with 'Shane'. She choked." Oli explains to them. (He whispered Shane's name btw) "Except linger" Matt comments after him. Oli sees that they have the artifact in hand. "You got the artifact?" He asks them in confusion. Joey nods to him. Then everyone wants to know what happened upstairs with the challenge. "There were mannequins. We had to do things that I don't-" "Yeah it was perverted, so." Joey explains but Lele finishes. Tim thinks he's got it down and says, "No look, they got another artifact so someone else had to die ." Did he forget that one of them was supposed to die? "You went up there and your name was called because Glozell put you there, so Glozell died." Eva pointed out. Now everyone is arguing about how one of them was supposed to die and why Glozell died. Matt and Lele are fighting again when she just blurts out, "Okay, you know what, it's the truth. Okay. We thought. Joey wanted her to die, and that's it." "Lele!" Joey yells, angry with her. "It's the truth. I can't say anything because you know what. I'm tired of Matt blaming it on me." We all look at the both of them in shock. "We had to for someone, so anyone. Everybody. I don't know who would die." She tries reasoning with us. "Really. This is sick." I tell the both of them. "No, listen. There was a journal, a death journal upstairs and whatever name we put in the journal died." Joey then explains the situation better than Lele. "What?!" We all scream out. I turn and put my head into Oli's chest.
"So you went up there with Joey and got her killed." Matt yells at Lele, but she retorts back quickly. "Actually it was either you or her. And he saved you." She said pointing to Joey, implying that he saved Matt. Tim is still in a confused shock, "Oh, okay." "He saved you so shut up and sit down." Lele says to Matt and forces him back into his seat. Then again Tim who always need to put in his two cents says, "Well in that case, thanks guys." God, what an idiot. "Let's just take the artifact, let's bring it over there, and let's get the hell out of here. Cora, are you feeling better?" Joey diffuses the situation and turns talking to me." "Joey don't talk to me right now." I tell him still in Oli's chest. Lele puts the artifact on the shelf. Arthur then informs us, "Only one artifact left." We'll be getting out of here in no time, I think to myself, but then we all hear a deep roar. Terrified, we huddle together, screaming. Everyone is wondering what that sound was. "It sounded like an animal." Eva said putting her thoughts out. Arthur tells us, "The evil of this house knows someone is trying to imprison it. It's unleashed its guardian to make sure that doesn't happen." I still think he's working for the evil, like how does he know these things. Both me and Oli say in a scared voice, "What guardian?"
