Is it strange how I don't remember my early years as a little baby?
Or is that just normal?
Heh, either way I'm pretty sure it doesn't matter.
I wake up in my fluffy bed. Barley any sunlight is coming through my blinds, just how I like it.
I look at my alarm clock.
9:36 AM
Lyla should be awake by now.
I gently start to drift into sleep.
Ғıṿє Ṃıṅȗṭєṡ ʟѧṭєя...
I am in peaceful sleep when I suddenly open my eyes to see my dog, Max licking my forehead.
He is a small dog. I get up.
"Aww! Look who came to say good morning! Hi Maxie!" I say in a half sleepish half excited voice.
Max licks my face and I laugh.
I put the little doggo down. And see Lyla at my doorway with her horn in her hand.
"Glad to see you didn't decide to be an asshole and wake me with that horn" I said getting up from my cozy bed.
"Oh really?" She said. She gives the horn a blow. Not a loud one but one that shocks me.
"Ha." She says.
"Your such a dork." I said I closed my door so I could get changed.
I am wearing this.
I go to the table to be greeted by my parents. Lyla was already eating.
"Good Morning, Alexis! How did you sleep?" My mom asks as usual.
"Good." I casually say taking a seat at the table.

We are on Winter Break so our parents agreed to take us to one of our favorite cities near us.
San Francisco.
It was not longer than an hour and a half drive.
Our parents decided to take us into the most boring store ever.
"Hey, Alexis... There is a sick instrument store right next to this boring one." Lyla whispers. "You read my mind didn't you?" I whisper back. She takes my hand and sneaks out of the store and then runs to the instrument store.
"Awwww Hell yeah!" She said racing to the bass collection.
Holy crap, This place is huge!
I run over to the guitars and I look at the Fender collection.
Oh.
My.
God.
I find an Eric Clapton Fender Guitar.
Woah! It's on a sale to!
Instead of $2,000,000 it is 1,500,000!!!
Damnit. Not enough. I think as I put back the money my parents gave me.
Well... I could try it out.
Why not.
I grab the guitar off the rack. And I sling the strap over my shoulder.
When I try and play a couple of notes the strings turn to ice.
What the hell?!
I try to tune the guitar, the nob also turns to ice. I unscrew the nob from the guitar somehow.
I'm definitely tripping balls.
I put the guitar back and without thinking about Lyla at all I run out of the store to the windy dock of the bay.
I see people hop over the gate of the dock to walk on the skinny wall that divides the bay and the ocean.
I decide to try it out to try and unscramble my mind over what the fuck just happened at the instrument store.
I hop over the fence,
I step on the first log since there is like four logs sticking out of the water to get to the wall.
I step on the second one,
My other foot steps on the third one.
Then I hear the most terrifying sound under me of the hearing of a loud crack.
The wood started to topple.
My balance was like, "fuck you I'm gone" because I fell over with the logs.
I grabbed onto the wall.
I tried to pull myself up however the ice randomizers on my fingers somehow go off and I am now gripping slithery wet ice.
I lose my grip.
And I fall into the ocean.
I hit my head on a hard rock.
