My alarm wakes me up.
I jump out of bed.
"I'M 13 YEARS OLD!!!!! IM 13 YEARS OLD!!!" I scream in excitement.
I dress in a winter outfit since it is generally really cold on my birthday.
My parents are not awake at this time because it's like 6 o'clock in the morning.
"Alexis!" I yell her name running out of my door.
But when I open my door a box drops in front of me.
It's a tall one with a tag on it.
"To Lyla. From Alexis. Happy 13th ❤️"
I thought this was strange.
She couldn't just give this to me when I would have ran in her room, screaming that I'm finally 13 like she is?
I look at the box.
"Fender"
No fucking way.
I open the box in excitement.
My sister gave me her favorite only Fender guitar that I wanted.
I scream in joy.
I run into Alexis' room and flick on the lights.
But I don't see her in her bed.
"Alexis?" I say her name to see if she will respond from somewhere else in the room. Maybe a blind spot?
I see a note on her bed.
"Lyla. I'm sorry I am not here for one of the most exciting days of your life turning into a teenager. I must go somewhere, I hope you enjoyed your new guitar. I am so sorry. -Alexis"
I drop the note.
Without thinking I open Alexis' window.
"ALEXIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I yell her name at the very top of my lungs.
Pretty sure I woke up the whole neighborhood.
But I don't care.
Where ever she is that scream should let her know I know she is gone.

I am trying to climb this snowy small hill that is only the start of finding my parents I hear a scream.
"ALEXIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
It sounds like Lyla.
She read the note.
"Lyla real mad ain't she?" The spirit told me.
"You suck at grammar." I told it.
"Im a fucking ghost, Alexis. Do you think I care?" The spirit says sarcastically.
I am trying to climb the last part of the first section of this really tall hill when the spirit grabs my hand and helps me up.
"Huh, thanks..." I said. Trying to do parkour against unsteady rocks.
One of the rocks I step on falls. The spirit catches me and throws me on the next ledge.
"Your welcome." It says.
