Just Right era was GOT7's best era.I also began stanning GOT7 at debut and I am still a fan although I'm not very up to par with their recent stuff. I slack a lot in keeping up with comebacks for all the groups I like tbh. Just Right era was great in every aspect and it's an era I never stop loving.
Not only is Just Right a good song but so are all the B side tracks on the album. The songs are fresh but still have a hint of the GOT7 I knew from the start. You can probably tell by now that I'm usually a fan of older stuff from idols. This is because the older stuff is what gets me into groups. It sets a foundation for the group and if I like the concept/music they start off with, I'm more likely to be more interested in the group. Sudden changes cause me to drift off but if the change in music is actually good then I don't mind, of course. This makes sense right? The B side tracks are sweet and all bops. Re-listening to the album, My Reaction (I'm gonna be a little personal) made me cry even though it doesn't seem like a song you'd cry to (I've cried listening to PTG's Shine before but that's another story) because the lyrics really express my situation with my ex lmao. Also, listening to Before The Moonlight Rises again made me kind of laugh? The lyrics make it seem like if it becomes too late at night they might be feeling some type of way and want to do the freaky deaky. I still love it though.
The songs aren't the only good thing about this era. I also really liked the clothing, performances, and the choreography. Yes, these things are important to me. I have a big interest in fashion, visuals/aesthetics, and dance. All the outfits were cute and the color blocking was really good. I love the Golf Wang brand and the use of it made me love this era even more. And, listen here when I tell you, Youngjae with tattoos is an amazing concept. If my sweet baby Youngjae got actual tattoos, I'd cry. The choreography was absolutely adorable. It still had flips from Jackson and Mark and although they just happened in the beginning, it fit the dance and flips were their thing in choreos which I appreciate them continuing. The transitions and formations in the dance were simple but it suited the dance so well and made it look really nice. It's a choreo I loved learning and loved dancing. It's just so fun.
Just Right era is just amazing and I miss it so much.
Tl;dr : Just Right had the best B side tracks, outfits, and an addictive choreo. A mix of old and new that will never be forgotten in my heart.
