TW: mention of rape, drugs
Two years back
"Please Namjoon, I'll do anything! You're the only person left who cares for me." Jin said, his knees aching and his eyes dry from crying too much.Jin lost everything. He couldn't pay rent, so he lost his apartment. His body ached. He was tired. Starving.
But still alive.Namjoon crouched down, gently lifting Jin's face.
"Anything?"Jin tried to calm himself down, breathing deeply.
"Yes! Anything.""Okay."

Jin opened the door slowly, welcoming the client. The stranger was quite unfit and tall, but Jin didn't mind.As Jin closed the door, the stranger abruptly clenched at Jin's waist, surprising him.
"Strip for me now, slut."Jin hesitatingly took of his shirt, revealing his smooth porcelain skin. The stranger, however had other ideas.
He forcefully grabbed at Jin's waist, pulling down everything. Jin attempted to get away, quickly moving to the kitchen counter. Suddenly, he felt a grasp on the back of his neck. The stranger pushed the side of Jin's head down, making it slam onto the counter.
Jin winced in pain, attempting to get away, but the stranger's strength was immense.
The stranger thrusted deeply into him without warning. Tears started to drip down Jin's face. He tried screaming for help, but the hurt Jin was experiencing stopped him. He bit his lip, trying to ignore the pain, but nothing helped.
After half an hour, the stranger went and left. Leaving Jin a mess. He put on his clothes, attempting to ignore what happened. He slowly slid down the wall, tears streaming down his cheeks. He hated his job. But this was the only option.
Jin was so physically drained, as well as mentally. He couldn't take it. He wanted to leave this world.
He frantically searched through his drawers in his bedroom, finding a little plastic bag of white powder. His hands started twitching, his mind racing. This was his distraction.
He grabbed his lighter as he put the powder onto a metal lid, mixing it with liquid. He heated it up, drawing it up into a dirty syringe.
His body was damaged. For him, it was painful enough just to live. He spent several nights crying himself to sleep, thinking about the mess he has become.
He took the syringe, his body already agitated. He quickly searched for a vein on his body, slowly piercing the needle into his skin.
After ten seconds, he could already feel the rush, coursing through him. A hint of a smile appeared on Jin's face. His sense of real happiness was lost. His addiction has infected his mind.

The next day
It was 9:00 am.Jin's body was battered, aching with pain. Awakened by the sound of traffic, Jin slowly opened his eyes. He groaned as he got up, dragging himself to the kitchen.
He rubbed his eyes, trying to stabilise himself but his head was spinning. A sharp sound came from the couch. He waddled over, picking up his phone.
".. hello..." Jin said with a raspy voice.
"I'm sorry, did I wake you up?"
"... who is this.."
"It's Tae. From the other day."
"Oh. Hi." Jin whispered, smiling gently.
"C-could I possibly come over? I need to talk to someone.."
"Sure."
Tae smiled with glee, thinking about being with Jin again. He got dressed quickly and made his way to a convenience store.
He picked up some chocolates and went over to the apartment. He knocked on the door with confidence, but became nervous when he saw Jin's face.
"U-uh, hi. I got you this.."
He slowly gave over the box with his cheeks blushing pink.Jin was flustered from the sudden gift. It was unexpected from a client to give him presents, but he gladly took it and welcomed Tae in.
They talked for hours, laughing loudly and enjoying themselves.
This was the first time in a while Jin was happy.
Truly happy.
They started to watch a movie after. Tae started to get tired, his head slowly drifting downwards. He leaned on Jin's shoulder, making Jin surprised. He smiled softly and leaned his head against his.
He didn't know much about him, but for Jin, it was as if they were close already.
All this pain Jin had, resonated within him, slowly started to release when he was with Tae. He glanced down at Tae. His ruffled hair, his face, Jin thought was cute. His heart started to pump faster. He abruptly snapped himself out of it.
"No, I can't. I can't afford to lose anymore money. I.. I shouldn't fall for clients." Jin whispered to himself.
"Everything okay?" Tae said, smiling brightly at him.
Jin nodded, and went to face the TV screen again. He couldn't focus. He was becoming lost in his thoughts again. He started to question the rules, his whole job.
But.. what if?
