Part 12: Lies or Truths?

Kenzie's POV: It's Saturday morning. I wake up at 9:00 and go take a shower, after my shower I go check Instagram and I see all these different posts that I've been tagged in about the Hannie breakup. I decide to investigate. Everyone is saying that I stole Hayden, Hayden cheated on Annie with me! It's a mess. I wonder how Johnny's feeling, I decide to call him.

Johnny: I woke up early this morning to take a walk, I needed to clear my head. All night my phone was going crazy with notifications from Instagram. I couldn't sleep. I just couldn't stop thinking, was Mackenzie cheating on me? Am I not good anough? Does she prefer Hayden? Suddenly I get a call, it's Mackenzie.

(Phone Call)

Johnny: hey

Kenzie: hi, we need to talk?

Johnny: really, what about?

Kenzie: don't play dumb now John

Johnny: fine, I hope you can explain all these posts

Kenzie: I can, trust me. But I can only do it in person. Meet me at In n out?

Johnny: if you say so

Kenzie: bye

Johnny: bye....

(End of call)

Johnny: *sighs*

Over near Jayden and Annie

Annie: so how do you think Johnny is feeling?

Jayden: probably not good

Annie: you're pathetic

Jayden: what?

Annie: I know you're scared

Jayden: Annie, Kenzie is my friend, I don't know if this is a good idea. What if I get in trouble?

Annie: relax there is nothing to worry about

Jayden: ok, I'm so hungry do you have anything to eat?

Annie: we only have diet foods for my dad, so my moms at the mall now. Do you want to get in n out, we can walk it's only up the street

Jayden: sure I wouldn't some in n out

At In N Out

Kenzie: JOHNNY!

Johnny: that's my name

Kenzie: sit I need to explain

Johnny: ok

Kenzie: so pretty much all the things Annie's been saying online is fake.

Johnny: and you're telling me the complete truth?

Kenzie: yes! You know I was with you all afternoon yesterday, she said that he went to me straight away.

Johnny: Kenz, have you atleast thought for one moment if the "she" isn't someone else?

Kenzie: why else would it be? I'm the closest girl friend Hayden has

Johnny: girl friend?

Kenzie: you know what I mean

Johnny: shoot.....

Kenzie: what?

Johnny: what ever you do, don't look at the door.

Kenzie: why?

Johnny: we have an unexpected visitor........or 2

Kenzie: oh no it's Annie isn't it

Johnny: yep

Kenzie: we need to go

Johnny: but we haven't even ordered

Johnny and Kenzie get up

Annie: not so fast boyfriend snatcher

Kenzie: what?

Jayden: you stole Hayden

Kenzie: your just talking crap so ima ignore you common Johnny let's go

Johnny: I'm gonna order, meet you at your house.

Kenzie: ok

Kenzie leaves

Johnny: is what you're posting true?

Annie: 100%, what do you think Kenzie does everyday after school?

Johnny: her homework?

Annie: no silly, she's been hanging out with Hayden

Johnny: well I've never really thought of that

Annie: look Johnny, we've been played.....

Jayden: yeah sooo true

Johnny: I'm not so sure

Annie grabs Johnny's hand

Annie: what do you say, a little revenge can't hurt....

Johnny let's go of her hand

Johnny: I don't know......I need some time to process it all

Annie: well have a think about it, and when you've made up your mind text me

Johnny: ok sure

Johnny leaves

Jayden: you've totally got him wrapped around you're finger

Annie: of course I have

(Outside)

Johnny's POV: I don't know what to think. Is Annie or Kenzie lying? I know I should believe Kenzie but I'm not sure. Even before we dated she lied to me about hanging out with Hayden while he was dating Annie so that's why I kind of believe Annie. I don't know. I'm not in the mood to see Kenzie, I need some thinking time so I decide to text her.

(Text Messages)

Johnny: can't come back to your house, my mom texted she needs me to go grocery shopping with her.

Kenzie: ok that's fine x
