A/N-Hey guys! So sorry if you couldn't read Chapter 2 that I had posted earlier, it didn't show up on the uploaded version though it would show up in edit mode- but alas I have attempted a re-do upload of it, even after chapter 3 has been posted already. Hope it shows up correctly now, and hope you enjoy! -CB
PS- Oh yea, I also just plain deleted the first chapter 2.

I fell asleep as soon as my head slapped the plush pillow last night. Kelly and I stayed up till midnight watching movies and getting to know each other better. Kelly is a cute, cheerful girl from a small town in the south, who ran away here with her boyfriend, Jay Rodges. She plays an amazing violin (She gave me a small demo) and seems to be easily distracted. We also compared our schedules, and preveiled to have but only two classes together; "String instriments 101", and "Advanced string tuning". My full schedule-

9:00 AM 1st period- Advanced string tuning

10:00 AM 2nd period- Singer's lecture

11:00 AM 3rd period- genetic prodigies

12:00 PM 4rth peroid- break (aka lunch time)

2:00 PM 5th peroid- study hall

3:00 PM 6th period- History of legondary saxophonists

4:00 PM 7th period- String instriments 101

My classes end at 5:00 PM from Monday through Friday. I remind myself as I close my binder once again. I've kept checking what classes I have and in what rooms they are in at least 4 times now. "Nervous huh?" Says a voice. " AH!!" I drop my books and they tumbled off my bed and onto the carpeted floor. Kelly dropped to the floor immediately," I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to scare you." I just laughed, "Don't worry about it, I was just suprised." She nodded," Okay then, I made some bacon earlier this morning if you want any." My head cocked to the side," Just bacon?" I say as I push binder in the red backpack sitting next to me on the bed. I let my eyes wander the room. Wow I think. It's way bigger than my own room. My room at home was really just the attic in our old beat up house. This one has fresh paint, a few windows that seem extra clean for some reason, and they give you a desk, a double bed, a nightstand, closet, and working ceiling fan. Meanwhile, my room was quite small, with one window that shook the dining room beneath me when I opened it. My old desk was suposudly carved by my grandfather, with beautiful patterns carved on the outside of the drawers. It looked very old, and it was. I always made my own comforter quilt, and was stuck cooking for my brothers when Grandma got sick. voices began echoing in my head. Sara? Caterina? S.S. Caterina! "WHAT?" My eyes snapped to the side. Kelly stood in front of me with a plate of bacon in her hands, " I said, hurry up, we're going to be late to our first class if you don't shove some bacon in your mouth and go." I blinked. "Huh?" I looked at the time on my flip phone. "Oh crud let's go!!" I grabbed two pieces, shoving them in my face, then picked up the resting books. 'Hmm." I ponder at the plate for a split second before getting an extra piece for good measure. "Let's see, books, breakfast-" I looked down. I only had my cami on for underneath my shirt. I sigh, reaching for the first shirt I found and plling it over my head. Bunny slippers, I thought. Where's my flip flops? I found them under the unpacked suitcase. Shorts, flip flops, shirt, all check. "Bag, books yada yada.." I mutter, slinging the bag over one shoulder. " Sara! Let's move!" Kelly yells, "I'm comin'!" I screamed back. I met her at the door, bacon in one hand, books being carried in the other.

"That's why my favorite flavor is cinnimon." I finish just as Kelly and I enter Room 225. Students gathered around their friends in different parts of the room, leaving obvious areas of where no one's sitting. Someone squealed next to me, "Omgish! There's Jay Jay!!" Kelly squeezed my arm. She pointed at another boy across the room, near a group of guys wearing jersys and athletic shorts. "There he is! Come with me, I wanna introduce you!" She grinned a toothly grin. I'm currently spying an empty seat on the oposite side of the room though, and I'm not a 'sports' kind of girl. Although no one here probably is, even though a few of those guys don't seem to care about playing guitar, because their doing chest bumps and calling each other "bro", but I'm just here to learn, and I've also heard about some programs for more athletically inclined people.. though I wouldn't know what those students would be doing here. I smiled," Class is about to start, so maybe another time." I say poliety. She looks a bit bummed at first, but say's " Yea I understand." And walks off to go join them. I go slump into the chair I had been eying. "Gah!" I dropped the heavy textbooks and slid out a pen and my journal to write. " Nice song." The voice whispered. I find myself droppping a journal on the desk, a black pen rolling on the floor. "GEH!!" I jump. A mocking laugh erupts behind me. I turn to find tall guy laughing his mouth off in the chair directly behind me. "What?! E- Eugune!" I stutter, trying to remember his name from the day before. "Wait, E- eh- uhm." I'm blinking twelve times a second now. "Eli." He leaned across the desk, his hand stuck out once again. " Honestly, thst's insulting." I squint one eye," What is? And stop trying to get me to shake your hand, it's not going to happen." He sighs, then pulls out a stick of mint gum and pops it in his mouth. " You first jump into my arms, but now you won't even touch my hand. You are one confusing little racoon." He smacks his gum like a 15 year old girl. "Uh okay, first of all, I did NOT 'jump into your arms'" I defended, "I fell. And secondly-" " You fell into my arms then." He cut me off. I narrowed my eyes at him," I tripped." I said sternly. He held his hands in front of him as if to block me. "Okay then Sar." I didn't have time to answer him, as of the bell rung for class to start. Several of the "jocks" scurried out of the room, clearly late for their first class. A short, stocky man aproached the front of the classroom, his hands held behind his back, " Welcome to "Advanced string tuning. I am your teacher for this semester, and my name is Mr. Hagglavich, but you can all call me Mr. H." "Hi Mr. H." Muttered some students, "Awake, I can see." He added scarcastically. "Things to know about me and this upcoming semester: Don't be late, I'm very organized, so you should be too. Also-" The teacher continues talking, meanwhile, Eli whispers in my ear," Hey- Sar," "It's Sara Caterina." I whisper back, looking straight ahead, "Not 'Sar'." I correct. I can feel him roll his eyes behind my neck, "Whatever Cat. But you aren't finished with those lyrics yet." I turn my head a little, just to glare at him," We weren't even talking about that. Besides, those arent lyrics. It's just a poem." I see him in the corner of my eye. He's smirking at me, his arms are crossed," Yea-huh, now tell me, what were you talking about?" "What?" I say, confused. "Ms. Sulkks?" Mr. H calls out. "You have something to say to the class, or is it just for your boyfriend there?" My heart stops. Crap. you were talking during class, and now everyone is gonna think you're dating him. "Ms. Sulkks. You have an answer?" "What? Oh, no Mr. H. I have nothing to say." I can feel Eli's eyes staring into the back of my head. Oh god this is embaressing. I think. Mr. H smiles," Well then, what do you play?" "Huh? My instrument?" I swear I can hear someone snickering on the other side of the room. "Yes, Sara your intsrument." My teacher sighs. "She has two." Someone says behind me. Okay, forget even breathing right now. I slowly turn to look behind me, even when I KNOW it's no use. Eli sits there, looking right at me, "I know what you're thinking" he stared into my eyes. "What do you think you're trying to pull?" I tried to communicate to him. " Oh really? Is this true Sara?" I can tell everyone's eating this up right now. Of course they would enjoy this. I look around the room for Kelly. help! I'm screaming in my mind right now, "Yes sir.." I mutter. "And what instruments would those be?" I search around once more, hoping to see Kelly's face. My eyes only land upon an empty desk next to Jay. She must be in the bathroom. I sigh, not wanting to answer," Base guitar." I say. " And.. I sing." Singing was really only a guilty pleasure of mine that I happened to be good at. Grandma used to tell me stories about my mother; the famous opera singer. My palms sweat desperately. I know Eli is ejoying this, too. I picture his smirk in my mind. "Why don't you sing few notes for the class?" "What?" My eyes bulged. "Come on Sar, you can do it." Eli pretended to cheer me on. I turn around once more," I hate you." I glare before I stand up to go to the front of the class. Please Kelly, you have to get back here and help me out. you know I'm too shy. My feet shuffled me to the front of the room, passing pairs of eyes. Judging eyes, I thought. I stand up in front of the whiteboard. Aw crap.

A/N- End of chapter 2. haha cliffhanger. Sara seems to have major stage fright, and she's about to sing in front of twenty-somethin' people whom she dosn't know any of. Read what happens next time :D -GB1111
