Delilah, crying desperately for help in the bathroom, all of a sudden hears someone coming. She immediately got up wiped her face got out her old lip gloss and pretended to put it on as "She" walked in. She capped the lip gloss rapidly like she was in the biggest lifetime rush of her whole entire existence. '' Hey. '' She said in a rush. " Hey... " The other student said. " Sorry about your glasses. " She awkwardly said. " It's no problem, I don't need them anyway. " She sort of laughed a bit. " Hey, I knew your new and all, but... I have my car parked outs-... " " Yes! " The student slightly yelled. " You wanna skip school with me?.. " The student nodded rapidly. Delilah heard the bell ring. She quickly ran with the other student to grab her bag. Soon enough they were outside near Delilah's car. A greyish 4 person car. Delilah realized I don't even know this person's name. She said, "Sorry, I never caught your name?" " Ah, I'm Nova. " Delilah saw in the corner of her eye the campus patrol. She motioned Nova to get into the car. Delilah drove off as Nova was buckling her seat belt. Nova lay her hand out and looked at Delilah with adorable almost puppy dog eyes.
Delilah took Nova's hand and held it tight as they drove down the highway, away from the campus, down the road to an apartment complex. Delilah parked in front of the building and ran rapidly into the building with Nova. Their bags sagging down on their backs as they rushed into Delilah's room. They both fell next to each other on the couch-... And laughed. They laughed away until Delilah got up, got a bowl, and filled it with mint chocolate chip ice cream. May 12th. 2:09 PM. Eating ice cream, as Delilah suddenly handed Nova the bowl as her face turned as red as a tomato. "D-Do... You like mint chocolate chip?" " No. " Nova said. Delilah turned bright pink. " I love mint chocolate chip! " They both smiled, Delilah chuckled a bit. When all of a sudden Delilah was about to regret her life so much as her phone buzzed, she put in her pin, checked her messages, ...
New message from, " Mom. "
Mom: We're visiting!
Delilah's heart felt as if it skipped a beat.
