My story via the prompt::
On the edge of the valley laid a small grotto where 3 creatures stayed, Each never daring to leave the valley. One was a mighty dragon who's proud roar would echo into the distance. One was a gryphon whose wings were the most gorgeous anywhere. And the last was a creature whose name no one knew, it shimmered in the light yet it had fur, it flew in the darkness yet had no wings, it didn't make a sound except when alone and no one knew what it ate. The dragon and the gryphon were fond of this creature, they knew it's name yet told no one. The secret kept tight between the three creatures
A mage came to the valley in question of this, asking the creatures who only responded "a name has no power to what you wish, forever unknown will the secret stay." The mage grew frustrated with this answer and pondered a moment pulling forth from a bag of tricks a gold coin and a mouse, holding them up he looked at the pair. "For its name I will give you these items, a coin of a king and the mouse of his castle." They looked to each other and thought it through, but looked to the viewer and asked "what would you do?"
