The last living

Ch.4: On the road

We are on the road. Were trying so hard to survive. We run out of supplies really quick. We have to stop in the next town for baby food and our food. We havent found a secure shelter yet so were not for sure about anything yet. Were scared because we were so used to shelter and not being out here all the time.

Me and Josiah are together now and Anderson is still not over me yet. It sucks but I feel like me and Josiah are good together. We have only been together for a few days so we havent kissed or anything like that yet. Last night we lost the bus and had to walk thirty miles to get three cars with low fuel. Josiah, Jude, Andi, Jerry, and I are in one vehicle. Anderson, Silvia, seth, beth, and Aliya in the other vehicle. Bob, Ethan, Amelia, and Easton in the last vehicle. Soon we have to stop and get gas from another vehicle or gas station if there are any of them anymore.

As we arrive in Shasta Ventures a place we saw on the map we have. We saw a appartment building when we first arrived. So we all stopped and went to check it out. The apartment has water, food, electric, heat, and air. We also checked the cafeteria its stocked with food. Its clean and there is a pool. A gift shop and a cloths store. So we decided to stay here for a while because everyone is tired of being on the road.

Josiah and I share a room and Jude and Andi share the one where the door connects to the next room. Amelia and Ethan share a room across from ours. Bob and Jerry are staying in the two ones beside that. Anderson the twins and Aliya stay in one room. Silvia staying in her own room and so is Easton. Everyone is settled in by now and in bed.

Josiah and I are going downstairs to swim. When we get down there he has candles around the outside of the pool. He has blankets and pillows. He even has my favorite chocolate. So we change into the swimsuits we got from the cloths store and jumped in. I felt really cold it was like ice in the pool. We locked the door and swimmed for hours. We had conversations and after all that we got dryed off and sat on the blankets while sharing chocolate.

Time goes by and we are still talking. We ended up staring into each others eyes for a little while intil he started playing with my hair and rubbing my legs. Then he pulls me close and kisses me. I messed up his hair alot and he had his hands on my waste. He bit my lip and I bit his. We lied down slowly. And I felt like nothing mattered anymore. Then out of nowhere he starts giggling.

"What is so funny," I asked confused.

"How much I love you," he said.

Then we kissing again and again. Look I cant tell you all the kissing we did it would take a while. Lets just say it was magical like unicorns pooping glitter and puking rainbows.

We ended up sleeeping for a while and headed back up to our room. And before we got into our room we heard a door open. But it was just Easton he was going to get some ice. When he walked by he said....

"Did you two love birds go skinny.dipping. Omg you should have woke me up because im great at it. You know im so sexy im illegal in fifty five states," he eagerly said thinking he was right.

"There is not even fifty five states. I explained hoping he would stop.

"Exactly," he replied even though it made no since at all.

So that was over and we were back in bed all comfortable. Anyways Andi woke up and laid with us. Josiah said..

"Have you ever thought about having any kids of your own they would be beautiful," he mumbles like thinking twice.

  "Yea actually I wanted one but now I have Andi and Jude to look after.

  "Ow ok just asking,"he sighed.

    After our baby talk we put andi to bed and laid down. He put one arm under me to lay on and the other hand I held. I didnt know a apocalypse would make people fall in love.

  "I love you Josiah," I whispered in his ear.

  "I love you to Mariana,"he whispered back.

 
                 The next morning...

    Everyone but me and Josiah are up and so we desided to make pancakes. So we got up and dressed and started heading down to cook when we got down there the doors were open and zombies were everywhere soon enough everyone was awake. Jerry and Bob came down and thank god they have guns because I got to scared to move so they killed them all and went back up. Josiah and I ended up locking all the doors and went to cook. We decided to make pancakes with eggs and sausage. So we made our batter and he stuck his fingers in it and rubbed it all over my face. So I stuck my hand in it and threw it at him and rubbed it in his hair. Now it was on we were throwing it everywhere. He said...

  "What are we gonna do now," he giggled.

  "I dont know," I said giggling back.

  "I have a idea," he suggested.

  "Ow yea what is that huh," I asked.

    Then he pulls me close and kisses me over and over again.

  "Get a room you slut," Anderson commanded.

  "Hey dude dont talk to her like that ever," Josiah angrily yelled.

  "What are you going to do about it. She is a slut,slut,slut thats what she is,"Anderson laughed.

  "Thats it dude," Josiah angirly yelled.

  "Ow im so scared," Anderson cried.

  "Youll think its a joke when im done with you," Josiah said as he charged at him.

   At this point Josiah has him  pinned down to the floor and beating his head in now Anderson is pushing him off. Now Josiah had him pinned against the wall... SCREW THIS im not a damn refinery.

  "DONT YOU EVER TALK TO HER LIKE THAT AGAIN," Josiah yelled as he was pulling away from him.

As they stopped zombies started busting threw the windows I guess all the noise attracted them . And they came after us.

"JOSIAH TELL THEM TO PROTECT ANDI AND JUDE GOOOOOOOO, AND DONT FORGET I LOVE YOU," I yelled.

   I grabbed my gun and started shooting I got most of them killed but I forgot Anderson is down here.

  "ANDERSON, ANDERSON, ANDERSON," I yelled but got no reply.

   Then he came walking towards me and the walkers bit him.

  "ANDERSON, IM SO SORRY I LOVE YOU I DIDNT MEAN TO HURT YOU," she cried while watching him die by those walkers.

  I grabbed my gun and killed the last of them. I ran up to him crieing and screaming everyone came downstairs and silvia fell to her knees and cried too. I knew it we are not safe and will never be. I told you in the beginning never let your gaurd down out in this disgusting world one slip up and you van be one of them.
