chapter two

[Jang Geum]

“Let's follow them” I whispered but loud enough for them to hear.

“Are you crazy? What if he's the vampire over the news?” Hyuna said, terrified.

“That's why we have to save So Ra,”Ji Hyun mumbled.

We all cautiously followed them. I was feeling so cold that I shivered as we go into the forest deeper and farther from the streets. Until an idea popped into my head.

“Ji Hyun unnie, I have a plan” I whispered to them.
“What is it?” Hyuna asked.
“What if I take the vampire's attention and then the two of you get So Ra unnie then run away,” I suggested.

“But that's dangerous. He could bite you in an instant if he wanted to,” Ji Hyun rejected..
“But unnie we don't have any choice,” Hyuna said.
Ji Hyun doesn't have any choice so she also agreed.

After they settled on their positions, I immediately run towards the guy who took So Ra unnie.

“Yah! Where do you think you're going? Why are you taking So Ra unnie with you!” I shouted at him when I'm already 3 meters away from them.

They stopped walking and he turned his back to face me and walked towards me in a quick pace.

“You can't escape!” he suddenly said in a terrifying tone. I was frozen into the ground.

My body shook when he showed me his crimson red eyes glowing in the dark and his long sharp fangs ready to dig into my neck. I once again stared at So Ra unnie who was left behind him but she's not there anymore. I guess they already ran away.

“ Jang Geum unnie ! Run away!” I heard Hyuna shout.

But it's already late for me.. He grabbed my arm and showed me his glowing eyes. They were beautiful and  hypnotizing.

No! He's hypnotizing me!

“You will come with me,” he ordered.

Then, he started to walk deeper into the woods. My body involuntarily followed him.

“I will. Come..with you.”

She stopped me to save her friend? Hilarious.

I wonder why they do this. They're going to die after all. I stopped walking and looked back at her.
She's standing lifeless ,staring at nothing.
“How pitiful,” I muttered.
One more kilometer and we'll reach the cave. It's the only way to enter the underworld.

I stared once again at her.  I suddenly felt the urge to remove my hypnotism from her.

She blinked her eyes many times before realizing everything. She stepped back away from me. Then, gazed at her surroundings.

“ Y-you..” she stuttered.
I just raised my eyebrow.

“I'm still alive?” she asked herself and pinched herself.

“You are, ” I told her that shocked her for a moment.

Maybe she's thinking why I didn't bite her.
“Not all vampires are as evil as what you think,” I said.

“T-then why do you take teenagers and kill them?” she asked.

“You can't blame me. It's our only way to live. And besides,  I kidnap them but I'm not the one who kill them” I said.

“What do you mean?” she asked.

“Why bother explaining to you. You'll die after all,” I said as I drag her from the ground because I know that she'll try to escape but I was surprised when she voluntarily followed me.
I looked at her straight in the eye.

Her eyes are filled with sadness. She seems like she's not contented with what she have. Looking at her outfit, she seems like a rich girl.

I decided not to mind it.  I let her go for I know that she won't escape.

Why is she like this? Doesn't she value her life?

“Aren't you afraid to die?” I can't fight the urge to ask her.

“I would even thank you if you kill me,” she answered that really shocked me.

I stopped and faced her.
“What do you think are you doing?!” I shouted that shocked her for a moment.

“Don't you know that there's someone out there trying to make himself a normal one while you.. you're so... ughh!” I shouted.

“Why are you so concerned?!” she shouted at me.

Am I? No. I was just....
Whatever.

I knocked her off and carried her. This would be better. At least no more talkative one along the way.

[Jackson Wang]

The hell..
He lied to us.

“How could you do this to us?! I  thought we were family?!” I shouted at the top of my lungs.

I can't believe that we are just a part of his plan. He used us and controlled us. He's not a real vampire, he's the god of destruction.

He used us to get virgin blood to retrieve his strength and he's going to drink our blood to get his power back.

“Family? What are you talking about? There's no such thing as family. If you give me yourself, you could be a part of my victory on changing the world into a better one. We will rule over all creatures and will show the humans how weak they are,” he said.

“Lord Victor, you're not supposed to do that. If you destroy and rule over this world, the gatekeeper won't have any choice but to open the gates of reverse world,” JB said.

“I know. That's a part of my plan,” he said.
What?

Then, he left us tied up on the wall of the dark chamber. What I was hoping now is for Mark not to come back here anymore. I was hoping that he sensed something wrong and he'll take a second thought of coming back here.

“What should we do now?”Bambam asked.
“We can't just wait for Mark-hyung here, ”Yu Gyeom said.
“What should we do then?”Young Jae asked..

Everyone was busy thinking when Coco came barking at us.

“Coco you are just in time,”Jin Young gladly said.
“Such a lifesaver,” I said.
“Coco, Cerberus form!”Young Jae shouted.

Cracking of bones could be heard as Coco starts to transform herself into a 3-headed dog with furious eyes and sharp teeth.

“Cerberus come and bite these chains,” I said and one by one, she freed us.

“Now, let's go and warn
Mark,” JB said.

We all cautiously left underworld and went into the cave connecting the upper world and the underworld.

“Are you sure Mark still haven't reached underworld yet?” Jin Young asked.

I was about to state out a reason when a voice spoke.

“What about me?”
It was Mark hyung.
