Lost

First day of school

My alarm clock went off and I got up and went to my closet. I picket out a blue Hollister shirt and my blue jean shorts and I put on my black converse. I went into the bathroom and combed my hair and I went downstairs and my mom had breakfast cooking.

"Hi hun ready for your first day?" My mom asked me when i sat at the table

"Yeah" I said

"Ok well here's your breakfast." she said handing me toast and bacon. I are it and grabbed my bag and went outside. I didn't know where to catch the bus so I sat and the end of my driveway and waited until I saw it.

"Having troubles?" and Irish voice said to me.

I looked up and it was Niall. I sighed "yeah, I don't know how I'm gonna get through this day." I said

"I'll help ya out let me see your schedule" he said

I handed him my schedule.

"Yeah you got the same classes as me so I'll help ya find your way and stuff." he said. "let me help ya up and I'll show you to the bus stop." he said

He held his hand out for my hand and I grabbed it and stood up.

"So your from America?" he said as we walked to the bus stop.

"Yeah, Massachusetts." I said.

"Oh what made your family wanna move here?" he asked

"My moms boyfriend got a new job here." I said.

He nodded

"So do you like music?" he asked "like do ya play anything?" he asked me.

"Um not really. do you?" I said

"Yeah I play guitar and I sing. I'm actually thinking about going on Xfactor." he said

"Oh cool" I said.

"Yep" he said

We made it to the bus stop and the bus came.

We got on and i sat in and empty seat and he sat by me as I moved closer to the window.

We got to the school and got off the bus.

"So do ya play any sports?" Niall asked me.

"Some" I said.

"Cool, I play a little football, well soccer since your American but your gonna have to get use to that." He said.

I nodded.

We walked inside and he helped me find my locker which was right by his.

I opened it and out my books in it and then we went to home room.

He sat by me.

"Hi are you Destiny Parento?" The teacher asked.

"Yep" I said.

"Hi well I'm your home room teacher. if you have any troubles finding stuff ask me since your new I don't think you have friends yet." He said

"Thanks but I actually have one friend." I said

"Oh really? who" he asked curiously

"Niall" I said looking at him.

"Niall Horan. ah. I hear your thinking about going on the Xfactor Niall." the teacher said.

"Yes." Niall said.

"Well I hope you do good if you go on it." The teacher said and he went to his desk.

We went to first second and third period. Then it was lunch.

I sat with Niall. We got our food and I didn't really eat. Niall had his devoured in seconds.

"Not hungry?" Niall asked me.

I shook my head.

"What's wrong something's wrong." he said

"Um, well I never said bye to my dad in America before we left." I said

"Oh." He said

I nodded "it's fine don't be worried about me niall I'm fine." I said trying to hide the tears trying to snark out of my eyelids.

"Ok but if ya need anything, ask me ok?" he asked.

"Ok" I said nodding

After school we got on the bus and we got home.

"Do you maybe wanna come to my house?" he asked as we got off the bus.

"Sure." I said.

We walked into his house and we went to the basement.

In the basement they had games, video games, a recording studio, and guitars.

"Welcome to my bedroom." Niall said.

"Whoa back up. This. Is. Your. Bedroom." I asked looking around.

"Ya" he said

"Wow" I said.

He chuckled a little and grabbed his guitar. he played a song.

When he was done he out the guitar down. "wanna try?" he asked

"Sure" I said.

He handed me a guitar. Then he picked up his guitar. "do ya know how to play." he asked

I chuckled "no not really I only know a C chord." I said.

"Ok wow you got a lotta learning to do." he said.

"Teach me?" I asked.

He nodded.

"Ok so here's a G7 chord" he said showing me the chord.

I tried it but it didn't play right.

"Put your finger up one string." he said.

"Ok" I said.

I kept getting it wrong and he came behind me and out his arms over my shoulders and he out my hands on the right strings. "ok strum." he said holding my wrist of my right hand.

It played the note. "I got it!" I said smiling.

He still had his arms over my shoulders. "yep." he said and I turned around. "thank you for teaching me." I said

"No problem" he said looking down at me.

"Um, I should get back home." I said

"Uh, oh yeah okay." he said

"Thanks again niall maybe when I have more time you can teach me more?" I asked.

"Yeah sure." He said.

I walked out the door and went home.
