Chapter Four

Oliver

Andy lay on the floor, tears running down his face,  blood running running down his arm. Niall stood over him, a mask of pure rage on his face. What was I gonna do? I was pinned to the ground beside Mark on the other side of the room. I turned my head to the side and attempted to catch a breath. One of the koopas had his foot firmly placed on my chest. I called them koopas in reference to Bowser's minions in the game "Super Mario". Wait a second, what would Mario do in a situation like this? Toad is pinned to the floor (as are you) and Luigi is about to be shot with a giant fireball by bowser, what to do?

You jump and Jump again and hit a question block and boom you beat bowser. But that was the game, this is the real world, stuff like that doesn't happen in the real world, or did it?

I dug my hand into my pocket and grabbed my pen. I clicked it and extended it's nib to the fullest. I jammed the pen into my captor's leg. He instantly cried out in pain and lifted his foot, I had to move quickly. I rolled to my left and stabbed Mark's koopa with my newfound weapon. We jumped up together, I struggled to find Dani in the crowd until she screamed and jammed her nails into Niall's pressure point. He fell to his knees and Dani held her hand in place. I could see the face of calm Niall was trying to keep even though it was obvious he wanted to cry out in pain. One of the koopas came over and carried Dani away while she kicked and screamed. Niall stood up, only to crouch down again so Andy could here him whisper.

"See Magic Boy, your friends can't help you, you are alone".

That was the last straw. I ran over and kicked Niall's flank. He fell to the floor but jumped right back up. I went for a punch to the face but missed and hit his shoulder. He went off-balance for a moment, then he looked behind me and shook his head. I turned one of his minions was about to hit me in the back off the head. Lucky for me Niall thought it best to protect what little honour he had. When I turned back Niall hit me square in the nose. I went staggering back. I felt my upper lip, blood, well if that's how he wanted to play it. I charged at Niall and punched him in the stomach, his reflex made him bend over and I kneed him in the face. Now we both had a bloody nose, well, maybe his was broken. As Niall recovered from the blow I anticipated another attack, but as I had expected, Niall had bored of me and went back to Andy, who was now standing and looked surprisingly healthy. The blood had stopped running from his wounds which were almost gone now. As the koopas dragged me away I noticed something even more unusual, Andy's eyes were pure crimson.
