Chapter Four, Oliver
Andy screamed. I didn't know what to do. Niall walked over to him and kicked him in the chest. He keeled over, vomited on the floor.
“Gonna use a spell to get yourself outta this one magic boy?”
Niall was going to kick him again. I ran over and stood in front of him.
St....st.......stop”.
“Oh, let me guess, you must be Ron Weasley”.
“If by that you mean that I am loyal to my friends, that I stick by them when things get darkest, then yes, but if I'm Ron, then you're Draco”.
He punched me across the face. I felt weird it wasn't pain I felt, it was something else, a new emotion. Anger? Rage? Whatever it was it made me want to fight back. I hit Niall across the face, it was a weak hit but effective enough. He kneed me in the crotch and I keeled over to be hit by the still-going knee in the face. I fell on my rear-end with a bang that was followed by laughter at my feeble attempt to protect my friend. Niall looked me in the eye and smirked.
“You never really were that bright were you” he said as he set his eyes on Andy.
I was nervous, people were staring at me, why were they doing that? I felt so, so down…….that’s what I felt down…………..down. But something else was there, wait, what had I just done. I said a full sentence without stuttering, in front of a giant crowd of people, and a negative opponent. Something else was there, courage. I felt strong, ready, courageous. A scream, Andy, Niall was kicking him again.
“Niall!”
“Oh well would you look at that, come back for more Ron?”
“Yes but this time it will be different.”
“Oliver no!” it was Andy.
“Sit down Ollie it’s not your fight.”
I sat, Andy stood, if you could call what he was doing standing.
“Oh is magic boy ready now, another trick up your sleeve.”
“Shut up” Andy mumbled.
“What? I couldn’t hear you over your friend over there crying his eyes out”
It’s true I was crying.
“Leave him out of this!”
“Whatcha gonna do about it?”
Then something really weird happened. Andy looked down, his breathing was heavy. But something was happening to him. A flash, red. Andy looked up again, his eyes. That was the flash, his eyes were red, crimson. He opened his mouth and what he said sounded like an explosion. Andy had the angriest look of rage on his face. If looks could kill Andy was the apocalypse. Then the really weird thing happened. Andy yelled again louder than last time, but what he said was different. It sounded like…………………….words.
“IMIEOAITANIS” he bellowed.
And that wasn’t even the weirdest part. When Andy yelled his…..I’m not sure what to call it……..Niall was lifted from the floor. He stood there, suspended in mid-air. Andy raised his arm in one sharp punch of the air. Niall was thrown back, hitting the wall as hard as a hammer on a nail. The wall was made of bricks. Niall’s spinal cord was visible, fully. Dani vomited and I was trying not to myself. The crowed turned again to Andy, but he had disappeared.
