"So are you free after work?" Namjoon a co-worker asked him. He sucked air through his teeth and groaned. "Ahhh no, I really have to nail the DNA coding for this plant later. I'm totally booked." He scrambled for an excuse to not go out with this guy.
"No worries. You have my number if you change your mind." He says before going off.
Namjoon goes to the specimen ward to take daily inventory of all the things the government scientists have created.
Thing that are dangerous, if they got out. It could rid the planet of biological life.
He takes out his clipboard and makes notes on everything he sees. There are literally half monkey half human beings that are being kept on site. He doesn't agree with it; but it's not his job to discuss the ethics of such matters.
He gets to the last specimen tank and freezes. "It's open.." he whispers to himself.
The walkie talkie on his belt is pulled in attempt to call to his coworkers. "Hey does anyone know if LPQ-79 has been moved?"
He waited for an answer before a small timid voice came online. "U-Um im new here. What is LPQ-79 do again?" The voice whispered.
With a huff, Namjoon replied. "It's the zombie virus?" Then, again, he waited. "No it hasn't."
That was all he needed to hear before he pulled up the plastic cover on the alarm and tugged the lever.
The sirens sounded out through the whole lab and the doors and windows began to lock off.
"Namjoon was that you hat just pulled the alarm on sector C?" A voice came on the talkie. "Yep, get security to sweep the lab and beware because LPQ-79 is the thing missing."

After an hour and forty minutes, the windows and doors opened an an announcement that all scientists report to the main hub was given out.
"Calm down!" Was what he could hear whilst approaching the central hub. "What is going on?" He spike to the scientist next to him with a nudge. "The virus wasn't found but an open door was. Someone either stole the virus or got infected and left the building. Either way, the virus is out there and could wipe out the continent in around 72 hours."
With a few hours past the government had army sweeping hospitals, scientists testing for a cure and a bunch of doctors on their way to help.
With Namjoon throwing away another failed cure he felt someone nudge into him. He turns and looks down and a doctor with wide eyes. Handsome, he thought. "He pushed me." He says.
Namjoon looks down at his name tag briefly. "It's okay Dr Kim."
"How do you know m-"
"Name tag."
"Okay! Let's get this virus shit show shut down!"
Even more hours had passed and the two, even working together, couldn't make a cure. That's when...it..happened.
"Joon." Namjoon recognised the voice of his coworker and turned to face him. "Yeah what's up?" He asked.
He sighed and his hands dropped from the tense position o bigs hips. "I'm gonna be frank. We're not finding a cure here. The spread also wasn't contained at the hospital. It's spreading and it's spreading now. You gotta get out of here."
At this point Seokjin was even listening and feeling scared. "Why are you telling me this, we all gotta get outta here." Namjoon retaliated with a whisper.
Again, the coworker sighed. "I am gonna dismiss them. You've got ten minutes to get out of here before I dismiss everyone else. You won't have to battle them out that way." He thanked him and began to collect his things.
"Can I come with you?" Seokjin asked timidly. "I don't want to die." He backed up his question with some guilt. "Yeah, sure." Was Namjoon answer.
The two bolted for the car and visited each other's houses to collect essentials. Then, they were off.
