Jess pov
Mr. R was teaching and I just looked down and was drawing, Cassie from time to time was looking, but i just ignored it, as the bell rang, all the students went in their chat groups, while I was alone, one of the bullies came up to Cassie, including me, he grabbed her arm and said "hey lets go, i can show you around this worthless freak wont do anything." He grinned. Cassie pulled her arm away and stared at him in anger, "I'd rather not." She said with a serious voice. I just looked at her, confused.. 'is she caring about.... me.' My heart wanted to cry but i held it in, i got out of my thoughts when Cassie grabbed my hand and ran out of the classroom. I looked at her, "why did you--" i was interrupted by her, "why didnt you say anything back?! You should of defended yourself!!!" She gave me a look of concern.. all I did was look down and say, "cause i tried to, but nothing ever worked, i was bullied for all my life, what do you expect?" I said that with my heart, and its true.
Cassie Pov
I looked at her, then after that i hugged her, "I'll protect you, I promise.." I said that to her from the bottom of my heart. I felt my clothes get wet by something.. 'tears..?' I let go for a second and looked at her.. she was crying.. "no one.. ever.. wanted to help me before.." she said trying to wipe her tears away.. I grabbed her cheek and wiped some tears off too. I put my forehead against hers, "I promise you, from the bottom of my my heart.. I will protect you.." i said that very clear to her.. she started crying more and more and I hugged her to calm her down.. it slowly worked.. she smiled at me, the most meaningful one I saw in my life.. "thank you" she said to me. I obviously gave a simple 'your welcome' and I said after that, "we should start that tour.." I see her wiping her last tear away still smiling, "ok" she simply said.
Jess Pov
I wanted to hug her more though, her body was so warm, so.. peaceful.. I wanted to stay like that forever.. but sadly we had to continue for the tour after all, it was her first day. I start to begin at the other rooms near us, we both have the same schedule, I never knew why.. but it was kinda nice. She was my first friend, and I respect that. I felt something inside me burst out.. my heart was pounding, my body was sweating.. was this...
